Summary: great mindless fun, although the official missions containing psycho gundam are nightmarish even on easy due to npc allies that cant die charging the thing and dieing like morons, the ai definitely coulda used more work.

Summary: fun to play, story line is super cheesy. It took a bit to figure out the controls but all in all the learning curve is pretty low. i have to say i prefer the regular samurai version of the game to the gundam version which sucks because i like gundams. it would also be better if you had more 3d movement. even though you're in space its pretty much a level plane to battle on.
Summary: The game is pretty fun especially in the beginning. I personally liked Gundam Wing so my character of choice was Heero Yuy. You fight through fields of AI drones that generally get killed in a couple of hits. There is just something amazing about battling through hundreds of enemies, does make you feel like an elite pilot. Then you either take the field of a commander shows up to defend it. Down side is that's all the game really is.
Summary: So-called professional reviewers love to hate the Dynasty Warriors series. Calling it repetitive and stale. I call it old fashioned arcade fun and a throw back to classic kung fu movies. As usual in a DW game, you play the lone warrior against a sea of countless enemies. This time you are piloting a giant mech against other equally large (and sometimes larger) mechs. Giant robots fighting! How cool! The graphics on the Playstation 3 is certainly not pushing the hardware.
Summary: Overall, right along the lines of the first game which I really loved. You can't zoom or rotate the gallery shots of the mecha, which is disappointing - but hardly a gameplay issue. The Duels now have you play that frakkin "Hit triangle, square, circle, x" game, which I really suck at. This seems to break up the play, just as you are closing with a boss. But my big complaint is the giant psycho gundam keeps showing up and ruining my game.
Summary: There is a certain class of pathetic gamer that gets sucked into a single title, and praises it to the stars, no matter the faults. For me, I am that pathetic gamer when it comes to Dynasty Warriors. I own and have played every single title, with the single exception of "Dynasty Warriors: Gundam". And I have constantly (over?)rated these games in reviews on Amazon.
Summary: I only purchased this game as i had Dynasty Warriors 6 and couldn't get hold of Empires. The sound of robots instead of ancient civilisations was intriguing, and the characters and box-art alike reminded me of the old Virtual On game on the Sega Saturn. I was expecting similarities with Dynasty Warriors Gundam2 to the other Dynasty Warriors games and Virtual On, and indeed there was, but altogether the whole thing didn't seem to fit together quit as nicely as the ancient...
