Summary: Great game as always from Dynasty worriors makers. Need to bring back the leveling up of weapons. Others did not have a story mode, thats why I did'nt give five stars. Whats Dynasty worriors with out Others, after all they have the mighty Lu Bu.
Summary: We love the Empires line for the ability to make Edit characters and DW7:E expands this capability wonderfully. Would still like the ability to easily purchase or obtain named characters outfits, but maybe in the next one. Game play is very good and the ability to choose your own combination of musou attacks is a big improvement.
Summary: I own and have played Dynasty Warriors 4, 5, and 6 for the PS2, so I am familiar to the Dynasty Warriors series. I think Dynasty Warriors 7 is a pretty good game. The story mode is cool; it takes on even more of a historical perspective when you play as one of the kingdoms (Shu, Wu, Wei, and now Jin as well, the dynasty that ends up taking over) and watch as the geography of China changes, as to who is ruling each area.
Summary: This series is a classic for me so buying the newest version of it was a no brainer. Somethings were better about the game, such as the new characters/kingdom, the town like levels that allow you to wander from shop to shop, as well as setting the difficulty from level to level instead of one general setting. One of the major downsides for me included the fact that stories weren't focused on one single character, but kingdoms.
Summary: This game was a great blast of refreshing air. I was concerned with the series considering how unappealing 6 was. But Dynasty Warriors 7 has a lot of great replay value. That and the added kingdom of Jin makes it more enjoyable. 4 however is still my favorite installment.
