Summary: Very different from its predecessors in terms of gameplay, I personally am not a fan of the changes but at the same time they're welcome, every single sequel to the dynasty warriors franchise cant just be additional characters being added with minor changes to maps and art.
Summary: this one is much like past dynasty warriors. you can play through each characters story line. only issue i have is sometimes the game has a bit trouble loading when too much action is going on (slows down a bit)
i recommend this over 7 and if your a dw fan than you will love it.

Summary: excellent game. i like the empires better than regular. if you know dynasty warrior games than this one is kinda the same. they dont change much. same ideas. like story lines. you can create players on this one. a few things i am not fond of. like the hitting sequence is now broken up. if you hit, hit, hit than try to power hit for combos it stops your hits and goes to a power hit. instead of continuing the hits in a row like it used to.
Summary: It's a good game, tough it's old (Dynater Warriors 7 is too expensive for me). And the price is right. You can spend over 100 hours on it. But the package of this game is not as good as others. It looks old.
Dynasty Warriors 6, the series is still so much fun

Summary: I've played every Dynasty Warriors game since Dynasty Warriors 2. This hack and slash Chinese war game has grown more fun over the years with new characters, story lines, and levels. This game is no exception. If you've played any of the other DW games, you know what to expect coming in. I enjoyed running through the familiar characters' story modes from the various families and the new characters alike.
