This is more of a playable movie than a video game . . .

Summary: This is more of a playable movie than a video game. You make directional and timing choices for Dirk the Daring as he travels through the Dragon's Lair. I played this game several times back in the 1970's on an old coin-operated, stand-up video game console. I never got very far through the game before the console got removed from the grocery store and replaced with something else.
Summary: Best version of the Game yet, and 100% HD, and I've owned the following versions: -Commodore 64/128 -IBM (DOS) -Windows (multiple versions) -Sega CD -Steam -CDI Interactive -20th Anniversary DVD Rom -Android Smartphone -Atari Jaguar :)
Summary: Item was as described. Loved this game when I played it in the arcades back in the day. Now, my 4-year-old LOVES Dirk and actually simulates his moves while he's playing :). The restoration of the footage is pretty spectacular, too. Recommended!
Summary: My dad has played the original so I know the game is great, so I give it the 5 stars it deserves, but the hd dvd i recieved has very flawed performance in the disc, it skips, freezes, and blacks out and doesnt play the scenes in order and plays some repeatedly despite having already passed it, very glitchy, but plan to get a replacement
Summary: The game was what I expected. The graphics were awesome. I had no difficulty with the game's performance as other have stated. It was a little awkward at first using the remote control instead of a game controller but got used to it pretty quick.
Summary: It's the firts time i bought a thing from Amazon.com and i was not disapoited. I received my commande the day before it was annonced, marvelous ! I don't live in the USA but in France ! I looked for this product a long time ago in my contry but i only found Space Ace, an another great title. Like the other one, Drangon's Lair is the best arcade/action ever made.
Best translation of the arcade besides an actual laser disc!

Summary: Well, I finally got my copy of my all-time favorite video game and I was VERY pleased to see that this is the best translation of the laser-disc game from the arcade period. The color saturation is excellent although the images are a little grainy. Sometimes you can see some blurring of images, but the response time is instantaneous! On my computer blu-ray drive, it's a little too fast and sometimes you don't see Dirk resurrecting.
