Enter The Dragon Again

GIN
4 July 2007
  • Excerpt: If you're a Dirk the Daring fan who has purchased a PS3 (or other Blu-Ray player) and have previously purchased a copy of this game on DVD or PC then you can stop reading now and just go ahead and buy a copy of Dragon's Lair (Blu-ray). The retail price is $29.99, and the improved video quality alone makes it worth it for true fans. For those of you not familiar with the game, Dragon's Lair hit arcades in 1983 and stayed out on the floor for a number of years after that.

Review: Dragons Lair Blu-Ray (Playstation 3)

Gametactics
30 May 2007
  • Conclusion: I personally played this game in the arcade and found it frustrating as heck. Now that I have the home version I can play it without worrying about blowing $10 in quarters to finish the game and can actually enjoy how amazing it was in the 1980’s. So in short, you’ll either hate this kind of “interactive movie” or love it, it is your $29 to decide.

  • Excerpt: If you didn't grow up in the early age of video games, you might have wondered if there ever was a game back in the early 80s without terrible, blocky graphics or bleep-bloop sounds.  Sure, even back then there were some truly innovative games with graphics that today we could clearly see the merit of.

Dragon's Lair

Project COE
9 April 2007
  • Conclusion: Dragon’s Lair isn’t for everyone simply because of the way the game is designed. The best scenes come from dying so in essence the game was created to kill you. It worked though, and hooked in countless people from all over the world. What makes this disc so worthwhile isn’t really the game itself but rather all of the special features contained on the disc.

Enter The Blu-ray Dragon

5 July 2007
  • Conclusion: My final verdict kind of depends on who you are: a modern day game fanatic, or as a nostalgic gamer who experienced the joy of the '80s gaming scene? If you belong the latter group, Dragon’s Lair on Blu-ray will be a must-have.

Review: "Dragon's Lair" (PS3)

gamingxp.com
18 February 2011
  • Pros: Von Donald Bluth gezeichnet, Retro-Klassiker, Interaktiver Film
  • Cons: Interaktiver Film, Wenig Abwechslung
