A taste of Budokai that we all yearned for.
6 August 2014
Summary: It was a interesting game for anyone missing the Budokai series but it doesn't quite stack up the way you would hope or expect. I would say you could enjoy one play though before you would shelf it.
Summary: I bought this game for my 9 and 7 year old boys who love Dragon ball z. They were excited and played the game a lot in the first week of ownership. Turns out that they both completed the person vs computer game in about 2 days. They unlocked all of the characters and pretty much mastered all the moves. The graphics are decent and play is cool.
Summary: Its ok.Was expecting a better game but recieved a crappy DBZ ripoff. The Story mode sucked and the characthers are crap.I sold this game to a pawn shop because it was horrible.even the graphics blow
Summary: Dragon Ball Z is one of my favorite shows, I have been a fan for a while, but the games they have churned out are always lacking it seems to me. The Ps2 games were hit and miss, and the ps3 games seem to be the same, Will write a review for the Raging Blast which is hopefully better then this disappointment of a game.
Summary: I read a lot before purchasing this game, couldn't decide between Raging Blast or Burst Limit, in the reviews ppl said this one was better by a mile, and maybe it is, but the lack of depth of this game is a major letdown. It has few characters and its only like 5 hours to get thru story mode, i know is a fighting game, but DGBZ has a great and long sagas and they could have taken more advantage of that, tho the ones included here are managed GREAT!.
Summary: If you are not a fan of the DBZ series this game is gonna be kinda hard to get into. The campaign throws you into the story of DBZ with no background or preparation. But if you don't care about the story and just want an easy to pick up fighting game or you're a long time fan of the DBZ series you, will end up liking this game a lot. Rent it and try it out for a couple days before buying.
Summary: Graphics and style wise this game takes everything good about the PS2 Budokai games and takes them to the next level. The combat is very fun. The problem comes in the removal of the world tournament. Once you beat the story mode there just really isn't much to do.
Summary: I have play a lot of the dbz games made for ps2 and recently I bought the ps3 version since I am a fan anyways, except for the graphics is like going backwards, I'll narrow it to some pros and cons: So let be fair, I'll write pros first: *Graphics as mention before they are really improve a lot more clear and I really like some ki and power display (from the bonus movie or shorts) but...(read below) *Controls: Controls are easy, really easy... maybe too easy.
