Everyone used to watch this show when they were younger, thirsting for violence and mediocre animation. Does this latest incarnation of the Dragonball universe stay true to the story? Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit

Defunct Games
22 July 2008
  • Summary: Who knew that a Dragon Ball Z game could be this much fun? Burst Limit does nearly everything right, even if it does limit the amount of players you can use. Marred only by some technical imperfections, this Dragon Ball Z game is fun for fans of the franchise and those who have never watched an anime in their life. It's not perfect, but Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit is worth checking out if you're into good looking fighting games!

Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit Review

GamerNode
2 July 2008
  • Excerpt: It seems fans of Dragon Ball Z are forever stuck with fighting games. Where once there stood a nice break of RPGs and adventure titles, these days anything with the DBZ moniker on it is bound to be yet another fighter. The latest, Burst Limit, is no exception. First off, if you’re a fan of Dragon Ball Z and fighting games, and have been getting Budokai installments as they came out, stop reading now and go get Burst Limit. That’s really all there is to that.

Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit

  • Excerpt: series, this game only presents us with the Saiyan, Frieza and Cell sagas as well as a few of the movies revolving around Goku’s dad Bardock and the Super Saiyan Broly. The nice thing is that you are given 6 difficulties to choose from, but not all of them are available at the start. It took me roughly 3-4 hours to get through the Z Chronicles section using the 3rd difficulty option. Some fights were tough and some were easy.

Dragon Ball Z : Burst Limit

JeuxVideo.fr
23 December 2008
