Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection - PlayStation 3 Review

Summary: Well this was purchased for my grandson, who is a Dragon Ball Z-addict! Frankly, I can't take these crazy-haired, perpetually flying, jumping, fighting, squatting, and grunting characters on TV let alone a video game! He LOVES Dragon Ball Z. and says this game could be better-not as challenging as he expected(?). He keep talking about some thing called "Ten-kie-eat-chi" and "Ship-pue-den"....no clue.
Summary: I bought this for my teen son, and I haven't seen him for days. All I've heard from him is the occasional KAMEHAMEHA! from his room, so I suppose he's rather enjoying it. Wish he'd do his chores, though.
Summary: I would not have bought this "collection". For what it is though Budokai 3 looks great on the PS3 and the gameplay is still top notch. However the decision to not included Budokai 2 was a bit perplexing as I felt the original content that was created for B2 was great (Tiencha, Super Buu absorbing Vegeta, Cell, Freiza etc). It also upset me that Infinite World was not included as well. If you are looking for a cheap way to get Budokai 3 this isn't bad...
Summary: got lots of Charicters new and old, a nice leveling system, witch can be fun,, soo many unlockables, and increased difficulty modes. i only give this a 4 star rating. because they removed the original sound track that i loved so much on the PS2 Version (and does not include budokai 2)
Summary: The game suffers due to a lack of online multiplayer, but flourishes as a party game. The first Budokai takes up valuable disc space as it is basically worthless. It'd be best to wait until the price drops to around $20-$25 to purchase.
Summary: There is no denying that the Budokai series has been Dragon Ball Z's best series to date. All of the Budokai games were great in their own right, but Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 was in a league of its own and unfortunately set the bar too high out of reach. Unfortunately, all of the Dragon Ball Z games made in the last 8 years with the exception of Burst limit and Infinite World (which were made from the makers of the original Budokai trilogy) Were based off of the inferior...
Summary: The game is just as brilliant as one would expect (personally, I only bought it for Budokai 3), but the change in music is annoying. I understand it couldn't be helped, but it's a great shame.
