Summary: Good value! There are so many hours of gaming to be had with this ultimate edition. The DLC alone adds several extra hours into the game. If you are looking to replay the series, or wanting to experience the DLC for the first time, or even wanting to experience the game for the first time, this is the perfect product! One complaint I had about the PS3 version are the insanely long load times, especially at the title screen when the game is "Loading Save Data.
Summary: Within Inquisition out, I was curious about this franchise. I had thought that Skyrim had broken me for fantasy RPGs, but I was wrong. Dragon Age is fantastic. Moreover, you truly build a world. If you are thinking of jumping into DA, I highly encourage you to do so, but you gotta start with Origins and play all the DLC. It's well worth it. I haven't had this much fun playing a game since I stepped foot in Riften.
Summary: Just played it again recently, I love the game, the story line, the characters. And I love the creativity and the world it is set in, I will not compare this to skyrim or other games as such. This game has its own universe, with its own enemies, which I actually find unique and interesting.
Summary: This Game is so fun. There is Literally Hours worth of gameplay. Here Are my Pros & Cons. Positives: + Great character customization: Your choice of gender, race, and class allows you to take part of a different backstory that can affect later gameplay. + Great characters: Your party have their own different personalities that either agree with or protest with the choices you make throughout the game.
Summary: Awesome game. Very good replay value. I spent a good 3 months straight playing it over and over again with different character options. Good plot, good graphic, good characters interaction. Only few things I didn't like, though minor, are game freezing when auto saving, fighting style is slower than I am use it, but you use to it. The locking is only restricted to rogue, so a lot of places where the warrior is in by him/herself, you cannot open the safe.
Summary: So fun. Hours of gameplay. Constant retooling of armor and weapons sets. Many different areas to explore. It just seems like it just keeps on going and going and going. I wish they made dragon age 2 like this. I would've bought it in a heartbeat. Everything you'd want in an RPG. Very deep, yet not overly difficult, especially on normal setting.
Summary: Positives: + Great character customization: Your choice of gender, race, and class allows you to take part of a different backstory that can affect later gameplay. + Great characters: Your party have their own different personalities that either agree with or protest ith the choices you make throughout the game. + Lots of Exploration: You can either follow the main storyline, or follow that with a ton of side quest of varying difficulty.
Summary: Love this game. Have spent over 130 hours playing and replaying it. Only Origins is much better than Awakening in my opinion--I just never really enjoyed the slight difference in style or many of the characters (possible SPOILER: at least you get Oghren in both) in the expansion portion of the game. Sure, there are long loading times, and I have had to do hard restarts of the PS3, but the game play and immersion I felt made it well worth it.
Summary: My friends have been trying to get me to play DA for years, but I didn't have a console for it. But I recently got a PS3 and when the price suddenly dropped on this edition, I finally bought it. I'm so glad I did! I'm not very far into the game yet, but so far I love it. The graphics are pretty good and with so many different options throughout the game, I'm sure I'll be replaying this one for quite a while. It was delivered exactly on time.
