Summary: (This is my review for the PS3 version only, and is for those deciding whether this particular version is worth their time and money.) Seriously, I hate this game. HATE! What makes me hate it so much is how much potential it had. The story and characters are both well constructed, but I can't say the same for the gameplay. Whenever I would start to get invested in the story, gameplay problems would rear up and ruin my interest. It's so full of flaws.
PS3 version has terrible frame rate issues, wish I got the xbox 360 version

Summary: This game would be great if not for the PS3 frame rate issues. It makes the game unplayable. If anyone has both consoles def. get it for xbox 360. The ps3 version may have better textures but the frame rate kills the game. I am extremely disappointed.
Summary: I love Origins which I am playing through with my fifth character! I was very excited to get the expansion pack to continue the storylines of my old characters, but I was disappointed with the new game after about 15 minutes of play. It lacks everything I love about the first game. There is very little interaction between the characters- you can't even start a conversation unless it is needed for the game.
Summary: I have to say I agree totally with J Scott - I simply fail to see why anyone would give this game 5 stars. I think I managed about 10 hours play, on the principle that surely it must get better. It didn't. I won't go into graphics etc., since others have already. But gameplay? If you're fed up counting sheep buy this. If you're expecting an open world RPG like GTA, Oblivion, Red Dead etc., that's not what you're going to get here.
Summary: Awful game. You shouldn't waste your money on a company who sold out to EA. This game is horrible and in no way resembles the first game. Spend your money on a better game like Skyrim or the Witcher 2. Their whole philosophy behind this game is "BUTTON = SOMETHING AWESOME WILL HAPPEN".
Summary: As soon as someone disagrees with the majority of reviews they are deemed to be delusional and in the wrong. Unlike the dedicated players who have reviewed this game I just like to get home from my humdrum job, open a bud and kill some baddies. This game just goes on and on and after getting involved in where exactly my hero's eyebrows should sit I thought I would be good to go. Wrong.
Summary: Since update 1.05, this game freezes a lot. The recent update 1.06 does not improve the situation either. This game freezes while my character is in combat, and sometimes when my character wants to pick up an item. Basically, I am now stuck at one location because of the freeze, and cannot continue playing the game.
Summary: Well the case and the disc says dragon age origins, but i must have a completely different game. it really is the worst game i have ever been on in my life, the graphics are shocking, they take me back to some PS1 games. but by far the worst thing about this game is the gameplay, at the beginning of the game you have to fight some giant rats in the pantry, which just look like brown blobs on the floor, so you get your sword out and attck using X, bearing in mind these...
Conclusion: This game is half decent and worth at least a week of your gaming time, but for an RPG it is way too linear and short. I'd say the price on release should have been around 15 quid given the lack of content. There is a lot of DLC available but for what you would have to spend on it you can get 2 or 3 new games instead.
