Summary: This is my favourite game of 2013. Sure it's not the same as the original Devil May Cry series, but it is worth the time to play this game. It has interesting visuals, dynamic gameplay and a pretty intriguing storyline.
Summary: You play as Dante, a wise cracking, don't give a f *&^ badass with a talent for slaying nasty demons too. A war is brewing between the angelic and demonic worlds, which leaves it up to Dante to put his skills to good use. The dark lord Mundus spearheads the demonic invasion, but all is not lost as Dante joins a resistance movement led by his brother Vergil. The two must unite to kick the demons out of existence forever.
Summary: Been a DMC fan since the original, and to be honest the series was losing its way a bit. This reboot is exactly what the doctor ordered. It's modern, stylish and packed with fast paced action. The combat system is smooth, allowing the use of the various weapons to chain of huge combos. The story was decent. Most of all, the new "anarchist" Dante is brilliant, keeping all the comedy one liners from his predecessor but with a bit more edge.
Summary: I've never played devil may cry before and when I read the reviews I got it because it sounded good and the graphics were great but the gameplay is constantly repetitive and the story is really dull and I almost fell asleep during the clips. Overall an over rated game with constant fighting and a dull storyline.
Summary: Game really is great. I would say better than I expected. Many times was surprised by beatifull effects. Some levels did not like too much, but in overall most of them are interesting and beatifull. Story is fine, but as for me - not beating original story of DMC. Still it has a lot of fun and not boring.
Summary: Its visuals, music and overall mood are great. Gameplay-wise, tho, I think it lacks a bit of "something" in its controls. There's an obvious problem with the camera, as you find yourself fighting against it too often, when you lose sight of your enemies inside a fight. Also the abilities should be better linked to enemy types/attacks, to have clearer and more straight-forward ways to combine your powers. The story is from a B-Movie script.
Summary: DmC is a good game on your first playthrough but it gets repetitive really fast. What I liked about the game is that there are lots of really different weapons. What I disliked about the game is that the style system makes the combat really linear as you will need to use lots of different moves and most of those are really weak. Another thing I disliked about the game that there were ugly environments, ugly monsters and ugly graphics.
Summary: I just got this game lastnight and my wrists are in bits. I love this game just as much, if not more, then the previous games. Its a new game to me so i will naturally love it more for now. The one thing that i love about this game is that the sets are so trippy. There are a lot of "floating" platforms, which i really enjoy. There is something about jumping on a platform with nothing but air below you.
