Summary: Game and turntable was brand new. Dongle looked like it was eaten by a three year old and then left in the sun for a year. Seriously, I'm not kidding about the dongle it looks horrid. Gameplay is really fun, I can't stop! Fine stars for the NEW equipment and game, minutes two for the damaged dongle.
Summary: I owned 3 DJ Hero turntables (party bundle and this renegade bundle). I love DJ Hero games, but sadly activision decided to abandon this franchise. There wont be a follow up tittle (after DJ Hero 2). So like I said on my tittle, its a really nice collectible but in the same time, its also a waste product. Buy this only if you have money to burn, otherwise just stick with the normal DJ hero bundle.
Summary: I purchased this game late in 2009. I was stoked when I saw this game first came out and figured it would be a blast to play. The replayability factor isn't very high and within two weeks, it collected dust. Some of the tracks are fun to play but the game interaction becomes very monotonous and eventually, I sold it. Perhaps my review is influenced by the genre of tracks or because it wasn't the Renegade Edition.
Summary: I thought this game would be really fun...it came to disappoint me. It is deffinetly not a rock band/ guitar hero when it comes to fun. The songs are awesome but the game play becomes repetative and lame.
Summary: I got this for my son, i didnt read what it was about and all the things that it came with. It is extremely heavy and not worth the stand stuff, my son hardly uses it. I had to pay more to bring it down to colombia that what it really cost... I should have read all the info.
Summary: Good game for people that are into pop music. Its confuseing at first to learn how to play unless you do the tutorials. I was expecting more eminem/jay z mixes due to the commercial but to get all those mixes you either have to buy the renegade edition or purchase more packs off the playstation network. I really aint that crazy about DJ Hero. I am a guitar hero fan and DJ Hero was sort of a let down.
Summary: This is great game. The Renegade Edition has a great storage/carrying case that does it's duty well. The game play is fun and energetic. I think it is a nice alternative to the guitar based games, and you can even add a guitar for two person play. Being left handed the controls seemed awkward and give more of learning curve. It would have been nice to have the option of turning it around for this reason.
Summary: Amazon provided a great deal for it, so why not try it out. It is surprisingly fun, yet difficult on higher levels. The mixes are interesting. The turntable unit is surprisingly sturdy, given its light-weight.
Now I understand why guitar players dislike Guitar Hero so much

Summary: As a DJ, I was pretty disappointed in this game. Overall, it does a poor job of replicating the real experience. For starters, there is virtually no control over the music. Either you follow the suggested button presses, or some pre-recorded skipping starts happening. This isn't a huge deal, but I've noticed that the first thing a lot of people like to do when they pop this game in is to start scratching. Needless to say, they're left in the cold.
Summary: I bought this bundle and extra turntable all for $50 , which is a lot cheaper than when it was released. Its a great game for people who enjoy pretending to play instrument or be a DJ. The turn table is good quality but you have to push the buttons really hard to register hits. The crossfader control is really flimsy and its hard to tell when its in the middle. I'm playing on beginning difficulty so i can get used to the controls and get the feel of all the tracks.
