Summary: The product was delivered in a timely manner. These are much like trading cards, in that you only get two in a pack. Therefore you need to order many in order to get the complete set. At first I ordered eight packs, this gave me sixteen disks, many duplicates. I wanted a few more to try to get some others of the set that I didn't have. So I tried to order another set of ten.
So-so value for these discs, but much less so through amazon

Summary: Disney Infinity, the main game itself, is excellent. The toybox mode is epic and robust, and so I totally understand the appeal of these power discs, especially when several of these items are pretty awesome. However, I can't recommend this. Partly, it's because of the obvious; you cannot see what you're getting. With two discs per packet, you're paying $2.50 or so for a random disc, which you may already have.
The discs are fun, but several things not thrilled about.

Summary: UPDATE TO REVIEW- After writing my original review I noticed a very helpful hint in one of the reviews I was reading, it states to do not open your packs take them home and place them on your base it will still scan so you will know if you already have or not, and just return if you already have!!! I wish I would have known sooner, since I already have 6 duplicates!!
Summary: Know what your getting! You are paying about $2.50 each for RANDOM poker chips that give you one of three things: abilities, toys, or toy box themes. Abilities are the only ones that can be used in the play sets. Blind purchase! No way to know what you are going to get. If you wanted to collect them all it will likely cost you as much as $100 or more, unless you resort to Ebay. You can and will get multiples of the same disks! Multiples have no use for many of the disks.
Summary: I purchased the Disney Infinity starter pack for my son's birthday. I can't believe what a little goldmine Disney and Avalanche Software are sitting on. Not only do you have to purchase these power discs to change the game a bit, but you don't even get to choose which ones you get! We purchased 4 packs thinking we'd get 12 different discs and ended up with 4 discs that were exactly the same that were to change the backdrop of the toybox.
Previous gen movie tie-in games were better than this!

Summary: OK, after experiencing all the freezing and file corruption issues that everyone else has on the PS3 version, I started to get into the game after taking my console offline. OK, I have no problem with that. What I do have a problem with is that all these "playset" levels seem exactly the same. So far I have played Lone Ranger, Monsters U, and Incredibles.
Summary: I bought this game for my son, and sat down with him while he played it for 90 minutes. I was bored very quickly. From what I can tell, the main focus of this game is on the toybox mode. That is where you build your own area. I have never cared for those games, which is why my friends could never get me into farmville. The missions, or adventures as this game calls them are really easy.
Summary: I was looking forward to this as game that could make Skylanders step up a bit in their future games. However, Infinity has disappointed me. The camera can be a bit annoying at times. Also, jumping on ledges is very annoying from time to time. The one review on here says that the characters can be used almost anywhere which is not true. In the actual story mode they can only be used in their worlds. You can not take Sulley into The Cars playset. Which is a big let down.
Summary: Just brought this home. Very cool concept with all my daughters favorite characters. On the bad side, we have had to restart the game 3 times already. A patch needs to be sent ASAP!!! We put sully on the pad and it froze both times. Once the game said our saved file was corrupt. We have only had the game for 45 minutes! Once this is fixed, would definitely recommend but until then, no.
