Summary: Positives first people. First I will say that buying this game was impulse for me. I didn't go into gamestop looking to purchase anything, I just wanted the price the Playstation Move...but I saw it and after talking the sales guy, about the graphics and such I bought it. Now the lure for me was the knowledge that this game had PREGNANCY! This was for me one of the best advancements from the Sims to the Sims 2.
If you have the PC version don't bother with the PS3, XBOX 360, or Wii.

Summary: I have experienced all three console versions of The Sims 3 and I DO NOT recommend any of them. To be honest, I am not sure why so many reviews are saying that the PS3 version of Sims 3 is "great" , "just like the PC experience" , "amazing" , "magnificent" and why the only bad reviews seem to be focused on "corrupt saving". Perhaps these people picked up the game and only played it for a short while, have no experience with the PC version or versions in the past.
Summary: I love the Sims, it's a game you can either dip into for a short while now and again, or find you've lost hours, days even, building the perfect home, getting your sim to move up in their job, or just being an evil tyrant and finding creative ways to kill your sims off. I've done it all in previous versions of the sims, and loved it.
Summary: After all the trailers, after all the months off waiting for Sims 3 to come out, my hopes were high. After playing the game, I found it very disappointing. One of the many disappointments is the Sims have a very sort live span, if you don't pause their ageing through the options, your sim will die very fast. Another problem is that the game is full of small glitches; you don't get upset about but does make the game less fun to play.
Summary: The game has its perks, the main reason I bought it was for the karma powers which make the game fun and doesn't make you want to use so many cheats. One negative point is that, unlike the previous ps3 sims games, this one doesn't really have any major direction. In the previous games you were set certain tasks and had to eventually move up towards your ultimate goal, whereas they've just left you to run your life, which would have been the freeplay option before.
Summary: Don't get me wrong, it is a good game but I found it quite boring at parts. You can't drive cars, the options to edit your house or anything, just crashes or deletes itself. I think it has a few flaws but It certainly has alot of options and good points.
Summary: Not that pleased with it tbh. Graphics are good ... But it takes so long to make a sim and fix up their house. I just wanted to play some sims not live it ! Enless you have forever then this game is for you - if not then this game is not for you ! Don't like the way this game gimics being God...would not buy for my children !
