An excellent action game that functions better as a standalone product as opposed to a successful reboot
new Tron, Amazon

Summary: Let me start off by saying that I'm a long time Devil May Cry fan. The original game on the PS2 changed the way I look at action games and really became the standard to which I've compared every subsequent action game I've ever played. With that in mind, I completely understand why many long time fans were disappointed with this game. It's a wild departure from the tone of the first four games.
As a fan of the old games, I really liked this one

Summary: It’s actually really good, and keeps the core elements of the story intact (though it did jazz some things up exponentially). If you’re a fan of the Devil May Cry games at all, and you haven’t played this game yet, DO IT. PLAY IT. It keeps the stylish game play mechanic and you can, indeed, cushion your foe’s fall with bullets… just like old times. There’s even an homage to Dante’s original design in the beginning sequences.
Summary: For what it is, this is a decent game. It falls into that category of films and movies that, I feel, would have been received 100% better... if only it wasn't buried by the shadow of an established franchise's name. Big guns, big blades, silly one-liners, plenty of minor mobs to mow through, and big bosses to dance around with. Story is weak, but who was expecting much by way of story? In short, good but for the name...
Summary: Pretty much got this to replay DMC1 in HD. The rest of the games I haven't played (yet), but for the price and content in this bundle if you're a fan of frustrating 3rd person action games like I am this is right up your alley.
