Deus Ex Human Revolution Limited Edition (PS3) Including the Explosive Misson Pack [ UK edition, US system compatible]
1 November 2013
Summary: On 25July2013 Amazon sent me an email that the game had shipped and I should expect delivery around 15August2013 or so. I recieved the game from Rave Imports of the UK promptly way before the expected date and was delighted by that. The packaging was undamaged and unopened. However when I tried to load it, it kept giving me an error message and failed several attempts. The game is suppodsed to be USA compatible and have bonus content.
Summary: I bought into the hype of the Director's Cut for this game, and now I know
why I never bought it when it came out in the first place. The story is dim and walking around the “city” for missions is tedious.
If you need to get into a fire fight or, god-forbid, fire a tranquilzer dart the
combat shooting is difficult. And forget traying to “hack” anything – its
near on impossible. I gave up with the hacking and found all the pass codes
online. A terrible game.
Summary: I am a sci-fi fan with fond memories of "Blade Runner" on the PC. I was hoping for something equally immersive, particularly given the Deus Ex pedigree of play-as-you-want. Sadly, things have fallen foul here. The graphics look really dated. That could be forgiven if the plot was gripping. It isn't.
Summary: I tried hard to get into this game, but just couldn't. What on earth qualifies this to be potentially rated as 'game of the year'? The graphics are nothing special, the storyline is unengaging, and it seems all too easy to get killed during combat, even on the regular difficulty mode. On the plus side, I didn't pay much for it, so no harm done.
