Summary: The air down here isn't what you'd expect. Normally mines are damp, rank, chilly places but the air in here is thick with sticky heat. I gaze up at the neighboring column as I cross the open expanse. The light of those infernal salamanders flickers in the misty dark but they are too distant to be of any concern. My attention falls to my feet. Runes are scratched on the floor here, warning of an ambush ahead.
Summary: Demon's Souls is one of the best games to come out in the past decade. FROm the soundtrack, combat mechanics and RPG elements to its level design, Demon Souls excels in every criteria of perfect game design. You will have the utmost feeling of gaming satisfaction once the credits start to roll. Buy this game if you are a fan of H.P. Lovecraft style environments, and buy it if you are up for a serious gaming challenge. I highly recommend Demon's Souls!
Summary: Demon's Souls is a game that absolutely loves to punish you and the game kicks off its relentlessly unforgiving behavior as soon as you put the disc in the tray. But don't get me wrong despite its difficulty Demon's Souls does deliver, its story is interesting, the combat and gameplay are fluent and very responsive unless your like me and hit the heal button by accident every five minutes, and with a game like Demon's Souls wasting health is probably not the best way to...
More accessible than I thought it would be. . .most addictive game I have played in long time. . .

Summary: I received this game as part of my Playstation Plus subscription earlier in 2013. I loaded and started the tutorial, and my initial impression was "meh. . ." Walking around hitting zombie like dudes and some guards didn't interest me much. I had a backlog of games like Bioshock Infinite, The Last of Us, and GTA V. . .arguably some of the best AAA titles of the PS3 generation. Demon's Souls easily holds its own with these titles.
Summary: I bought this on a recommendation from a friend. I knew about the punishing nature in advance and really had no desire to play it. I don't mind a challenge. But, having to play the same sections over and over because of cheap shots isn't my idea of fun. At least that's what I thought. After playing the first 2 hours or so I didn't hate it. But, I still wasn't convinced it was for me. I decided to go to the Wiki to help me understand the leveling and weapon/items.
Almost like a survival-RPG.There's something about it's sadistic/morbid world and gameplay that I like.

Summary: Demon's Souls is like no other RPG I've played. It feels like it belongs in a different subgenre(perhaps it could be labelled a survival RPG).The reason I say this is it makes you work very hard to survive in the game. It's an action RPG,but carelessly hacking and slashing at enemies will get you killed quickly for sure. You'll need to block or dodge enemy attacks or you will die quickly.Another thing that makes Demon's Souls(which I'll refer to as DS)difficulty level so...
Summary: This game was way too hard for me. The graphics are beautiful, the controls are crisp, and the development is definitely top-tier. They are very straightforward about the difficulty of this game, and the reviews verify just how difficult of a game this is. You have to be a smart, committed gamer to beat this game. I am neither. This game was too difficult for me to master, and I am little more than a casual gamer. That isn't the developer's fault.
