Pros: Fun combat. A slower paced hack and slash. Player is somewhat fragile, yet strong enough to take on any enemy with the correct timing and strategy.
Cons: Netplay is interesting, but a quicker way to interact with others would have been nice. The gesture system is a bit clumsy. The world/levels can seem a bit plain or empty sometimes in between fighting. Spells/magic combat could be better.
Let strength be granted so the world might be mended.

Conclusion: While it is technically a spiritual successor to the somewhat obscure King’s Field series, when stood next to the tutorial filled, cutscene packed games of today, Demon’s Souls looks and feels as though it were developed in a vacuum.
Pros: As technology advances, many of today’s games are making pushes more towards interactive storytelling. The need to obtain the same level of respect as Hollywood blockbusters is a carrot that seems to dangle in the faces of the industry’s biggest publishers. That’s fine. There’s certainly a lot of...
Cons: The reputation that surrounds Demon’s Souls is that it’s an extremely difficult game, which is an assessment that I find to be inaccurate. If the measurement of a game’s difficulty is how many times the player fails in attempting a challenge, then Demon’s Souls doesn’t come close to some of the g...
Summary: Don't be scared by its reputation for difficulty. It's a lot easier than some of the old NES games from the 80s. Modern gamers are just spoiled by easy games. Demon's Souls provides the perfect amount of challenge. Go into it thinking "I'm going to die, but that's how I'll learn.
Summary: The air down here isn't what you'd expect. Normally mines are damp, rank, chilly places but the air in here is thick with sticky heat. I gaze up at the neighboring column as I cross the open expanse.
Summary: Demon's Souls is one of the best games to come out in the past decade. FROm the soundtrack, combat mechanics and RPG elements to its level design, Demon Souls excels in every criteria of perfect game design. You will have the utmost feeling of gaming satisfaction once the credits start to roll.
Summary: I am so impressed by this game I can't even write a proper review. This game is so good you will think about it at work. If you played Dark Souls and liked it... do yourself a favor and beat this game.
Summary: Hast thou come to be awesome before the time? There are great games, and then, there are immortal games. Demon's Souls is the latter type of video game. I haven't played a game that's clicked with me like Demon's Souls has since A Link to the Past on the Super Nintendo. It is fantastic.
