Summary: Don't be scared by its reputation for difficulty. It's a lot easier than some of the old NES games from the 80s. Modern gamers are just spoiled by easy games. Demon's Souls provides the perfect amount of challenge. Go into it thinking "I'm going to die, but that's how I'll learn." This is one of the best games for the PS3, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Summary: Frustrating, boring. It's like Dragon's Lair, with more freedom, 20 years later. Stunning graphics, unforgiving gameplay, storyline... let's just say Dragon's Lair had a better storyline. I'll pass, but I can understand that if for you videogaming is a test of reflexes, might be a game for you.
Summary: Demon's Souls is one of the best games to come out in the past decade. FROm the soundtrack, combat mechanics and RPG elements to its level design, Demon Souls excels in every criteria of perfect game design. You will have the utmost feeling of gaming satisfaction once the credits start to roll. Buy this game if you are a fan of H.P. Lovecraft style environments, and buy it if you are up for a serious gaming challenge. I highly recommend Demon's Souls!
Summary: I am so impressed by this game I can't even write a proper review. This game is so good you will think about it at work. If you played Dark Souls and liked it... do yourself a favor and beat this game.
Summary: Hast thou come to be awesome before the time? There are great games, and then, there are immortal games. Demon's Souls is the latter type of video game. I haven't played a game that's clicked with me like Demon's Souls has since A Link to the Past on the Super Nintendo. It is fantastic. It's better than any mere 'flavor of the month' AAA video game you might read about. Those games suck compared to Demon's Souls. Most things do.
More accessible than I thought it would be. . .most addictive game I have played in long time. . .

Summary: I received this game as part of my Playstation Plus subscription earlier in 2013. I loaded and started the tutorial, and my initial impression was "meh. . ." Walking around hitting zombie like dudes and some guards didn't interest me much. I had a backlog of games like Bioshock Infinite, The Last of Us, and GTA V. . .arguably some of the best AAA titles of the PS3 generation. Demon's Souls easily holds its own with these titles.
Summary: I bought this on a recommendation from a friend. I knew about the punishing nature in advance and really had no desire to play it. I don't mind a challenge. But, having to play the same sections over and over because of cheap shots isn't my idea of fun. At least that's what I thought. After playing the first 2 hours or so I didn't hate it. But, I still wasn't convinced it was for me. I decided to go to the Wiki to help me understand the leveling and weapon/items.
