Summary: This is the weirdest, ugliest, buggiest game I've ever played... but it's so good despite all that. The story and characters, the strange mechanics, the ugly but charming graphics - it's an odd, yet wonderful creation. Something you must approach with an open mind to truly appreciate. Please give it a chance.
Summary: My feelings about this game are very contradicting and although I would play a sequel to it, I'll never play it again. I'm glad I gave it a chance and experienced it for myself but it's one of those games that since I know the ending, I don't really care to go through all of the headache that it took to beat it. I understand it and I know that the director had a specific vision that he wanted to produce but it's flaws turn me away from a future replay.
Summary: First off, let me just start off by saying that I originally watched a walkthrough of this video on YouTube, back when the game was only available for the Xbox 360 / XBLA. It's a little strange, at first. Especially considering that the ghosts have a purple tint to them and 'bleed' purple. Which I thought was really cheesy.
Summary: If I ever wrote a book with a video game topic the title would be "1 Video Game You Must Play Before You Die" and Deadly Premonition would be the subject. In it you would find countless of analysis of the many citizens of Greenvale, a complete study of the main characters quirks and flaws, how to make your own Sinner's Sandwich and why you always should keep your suit pressed and clean. Hell, I would probably end up writing a sequel.
Summary: I am a female gamer [yes, they exist] and I adore Silent Hill and Fatal Frame [I've replayed them so many times that my bf teases me]. I mainly play system games and avoid the PC games [unless it's a system game with a controller calibrated]. So you won't find me playing DOTA or Starcraft. But I play everything else. I watched some twin peaks and yes, the similarities are there. This game is really weird. If you liked Rule of Rose, you will like this.
Summary: This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Deadly Premonition is hard to write anything for without giving away spoilers, so I will break this down into two sections: A simple spoiler-free "Pros & Cons" section with a summary of my review, followed by a spoiler-filled review.
Summary: I'm not sure what the game producers were going for. This game seems like a retro game (old style resident evil perhaps). The story however is really what kept me playing. It was pretty out there, and amusing. Although, I almost didn't finish the game, because the rest of the game was bad, really bad! The sound of the car was horrible. Like an engine sound effect from an 80's 8 bit game. Very one dimensional. Old Nintendo sounds effects?
Summary: I have this game for the xbox 360 version, which I LOVE IT!! my favorite game of this generation, by far! I've been defending this game in all forums, etc...but... the port they did for a PC is just an INSULT for everyone who bought the game, is a careless port, full of bugs and even not gamepad control option!!! The worse thing is their actitude after released the game, complete awful and not respecting the costumers.
