Summary: The third time is a charm. Well, at least that's what they say, but truth be told, by the third time around a series is at risk of growing stale. There's a chance that fans will be satisfied with the same style game for a third time, but there's as equal a chance they will want something more. The question the developers must ask is: "What changes can be made that will keep the series fresh, while still accommodating to our fans desires?".
Summary: The Dead Space series is made famous by bringing the horror genre into the next generation. The first two entries were fantastic in their own respects. Plenty of scares and action coupled with a decent background story. A third title in this series was inevitable. While Dead Space 3 manages to be an enjoyable game in general, it doesn't bring anything new to the gaming-sphere. By a long shot. The first two games took place primarily on giant spaceships.
Dead Space 3 not perfect but still full of intense moments and scares.

Summary: Dead Space 3 brings survival horror to the PS3 in a way that other big hit survival horror franchises wish they could scare gamers. The planet environment surprisingly works to bring up scares. The graphics are good, the suits and necromorphs have beautiful detail, even players that have played the previous two titles can play the game and appreciate the little details. The game kept plenty of intensity that it always had. The new weapon crafting is a nice wrinkle.
Summary: If you've read my blog post you will know that I wasn't overly impressed with Dead Space 3. That isn't to say Dead Space 3 is a bad game it just lacks the innovation Dead Space 1 and 2 had. Isaac is still pretty cool, but the rest of the characters are really dull and they can be easily forgotten. The game isn't scary and the atmosphere is nowhere near as creepy as the first two.
Summary: Dead space 3 tkes place a fiew months after soul survivors Isaac Clarke and Ellie narrowly escape a massive space station called the Sprawl infested with alien creatures called Necromorphs. Issac suffering dementia and guilt over the losss of his ex girlfriend and apparant break up with Ellie, leaves him more broken as a character.
Summary: Dead space 1 & 2 were both great sci fi horror games, and I thought I wouldnt like this one with the underwhelming review score comparisons. However besides a few dumb story plot "twists" and some crappy cgi acting. This is the best of the trilogy in terms of duration, game-play and sheer carnage! It was already really cheap 6 months after release, so dont be afraid and and delve back into the mind of Isaac once more.
Summary: I really like this game, i love how they have incorporated co-op into the game, it gives it a whole new experience. I also like how you are now able to create and alter your own weapons with parts that you find throughout the game. Over all it is a very good game however it is more for some than others.
Summary: The new instalment adds great new environments and a new dynamic. Weapon making is much more fun, if not a little involved. Optional missions are good, and the co-op optional missions mean you can move between single and co-op play easily. The tension is there and the look has improved.
