Summary: I am a huge fan of dead or alive and was looking forward to playing it. I paid $30 and I should have waited a little bit longer. It is mainly the challenges with pulling off the character moves. I had to give up and move on. One day I'll pick it up again.
Summary: Dead or Alive 5 exclusive collector's edition is great. But when I received it, one of the corner of the hard case was slightly damage as well as the plastic cover of the game was fracture too. Very disappointed but what can I do. I will not buy from this vendor again especially for the price that I paid for this game.
Summary: i am so much simpler and long for simpler games. my ps3 hardly gets used. remember when all you had to do was walk through a stage and kill people and if it was too hard there was a cheat code you could put in. i want back games like that. they should ease my frustration not add to it.
Summary: Didnt keep my interest for more than a week. Great fighting style, as is typical for the DoA series, good story mode and move tutiorial. Just... missing a certain element to keep me interested... maybe Im growing out of DoA! If you are having doubts, get it. Superb collectors edition for the price, just be prepared for monotomy!
Mortal Kombat 4 remains the fighter of choice for me
27 June 2013
Excerpt: When the original PS1 version Dead or Alive burst onto the scene, it stirred up a fair amount of controversy and did nothing to break the stereotype of gaming as the preserve of over-sexed teenage boys. The protagonists were all rather well-endowed females who decided to fight whilst not wearing a great deal. There was even a setting where you could alter the extent to which the young ladies' (ahem) "assets" bounced whilst fighting.
Dead or Alive 5: The Hottest Fighters in Gaming are Back
14 November 2012
Excerpt: Playstation 3 lovers of boobies rejoice! After a twelve-year absence, the lovely ladies of Dead or Alive are back on a Sony console. Ever since DOA 3 the titillating fighting game series has been an Xbox exclusive, but all that has changed with this fifth installment. DOA 5 is a multi-system release and also marks the start of a new era as franchise creator Tomonobu Itagaki was not involved in the project.
Pros: Attractive graphics, easy to learn controls, lag free online play .
Cons: Some terrible voice acting, less content than some other fighters (i . e MK and Tekken . )
