Summary: Seriously, this is ridiculous... I would say the game has about half the content of Dead or Alive 2: Hardcore on the PlayStation2. Just like Capcom has done, Team Ninja has stashed away extras like Costumes for the characters in order to sell them at ridiculous prices on the PlayStation Network or Xbox Live.
Summary: I hate to be negative, but this game is seriously wack. I was kinda looking forward to this title coming out but instead I was overcome by disappointment. I played the story mode which is like what another review stated that is serves as a tutorial for how to play the game and learn moves and combos. I was looking for some excitement and I never ran across any. This review is short and sweet..
Summary: I like the DoA games and was looking forward to this one, but they really screwed it up. Here's the problems: - Short story mode that also serves as a basic tutorial. If you've ever played Dead or Alive: Dimensions for the 3ds, it's the same thing. Most of the fights happen for the dumbest reasons and just serve as filler. - No character endings in arcade mode. It's been turned into a "Get the highest score" mode and there's not even a boss at the end.
Summary: Been 6-7 years since the last DOA game and this game surprisingly do not bring anything new onto the table. The graphic looks great but yet again all DOA games look great. There is a new art direction in this one but the overall visuals is a lot more grainy this time around. I prefer the old look. The gameplay is where things disappoint. It didn't even change. Keep playing DOA4 if you like the series and avoid this. I mean I can go on and on how bad this game is. Roster?
