Summary: I've played loads of action games, ps1 and up and until i hit my worst fear i was enjoying the game fully then because of my slow reflexes this game is no longer fun and more of a do not try title. Now the collectors edition is awesome. This got 2 stars because it totally ruins the game for me to have a button mashing mini game integrated into the gameplay other than that its an awesome game and worth a rental not ownership.
Summary: Compared to the first game, I would have to say that this game is better in terms of hack and slice. As for the story, it's very poor... You have always to go to spot A, pick 3 things, come back to the main area, deliver them, go to spot B, pick 3 things, come back and so on... A let down for the DarkSiders fans...
Summary: I gave this game a couple of hours, hoping that it would get better. It didn't. I love the subject matter as all things supernatural interest me, but it was just dull. I've never played the first Darksiders so it may be a game purely for those who enjoy the franchise but it's just not for me.
Summary: Bought the game in october, and i hadn't had the chance to play it till now. and the Game is constantly freezing from 10 to 10 minutes, even after the 1.02 patch. i'm now stuck in the game, because if i start a fight talk to someone the game freezes, when it saves. i can't even finish the bloody game. i even deleted all my data and reinstalled the game again and nothing.
Summary: First few hours of playing this I was majorly disappointed. Must agree with a few of the other reviews on this aswell. It isnt darksiders as it should of been. The game is much more light hearted and almost comic book like. Cut scenes are too short and often dont appear graphically as good as in the first.
Summary: This is a terrible game. Lots of landscapes, lots of art, an actual story... but it all falls apart. Those landscapes? You're going to race through them on a horse. Combat? Randomly mash buttons on your controller. The story? You're shoehorned into it, totally linear.
A great game, let down by an overly complicated boss fight.

Summary: I loved Darksiders 1 because it was a combination of Zelda and God of War, and the biblical theme was something different in an age when most people stay clear of that kind of source material. It wasn't perfect though as the controls were a bit twitchy, but it was still fun to play. I per-ordered Darksiders 2 expecting the same and for the most part I got that, with...
Summary: I found this game very very very nearly BORING. I couldn't face to finish the game! When it starts off, I liked the attack combos, the way the monsters looked and the finishers. Annoyingly though, there is only one finisher for each monster which I would expect from a PS2 game but certainly not a PS3 game. Also, the attack combos are too similar and eventually it all just becomes too samey.
