Summary: The story was outstanding and the end was great, places are good, I loved the voices in the game and dialogues, the way that War fights is really amazing, I would recomend this game but you need to play also Darksiders II
Summary: Darksiders is a decent action game, built on the bones of about 5 different games--God of War, Zelda, Soul Reaver, Devil May Cry, and believe it or not, Portal. Some people say it isn't fair to judge a game based on its similarities to other games because every game, essentially, is built on the foundation of the ones that came before it which allows for a strong intertextual relationship that pushes and refines genres and mechanics (the ubiquitous uses of Gears of...
More a button-masher action title than an Adventure or RPG

Summary: The Zelda influence on this game was enough for me to enjoy it, and finish it. But the lack of precision in the combat, variety of attacks, and weak magic variety kept it from being better. Combat is button mashing friendly, combo-based combat, where precision is helpful, but far from required. Similar to GoW, but easier IMO, and not as varied. Magic is limited. Customization is virtually non-existent, and there is little leveling.
Summary: Let's put it this way. If you like to hack and Slash buy it. If you like to improve your weapons buy it. If you like a very interesting and Stray foward story buy it. A must buy if you want to have a good time. A good way to understand this tytle is to play it.
Summary: It's a technically well-executed game with generally good graphic, art, detail... the bad guys are pretty scary. The sound is good. But these days "technically proficient" isn't quite enough, and other than an exaggerated drama based on some of the more psychedelic apocalyptic elements of Christian mythology.
No matter what anyone says this IS a god of war clone

Summary: I've read most of the reviews here, and the more recent ones are leaning towards a, "this isn't a god of war clone" review. I have to say, this IS God of War 3 with different characters. Just look at it, I mean honestly they didn't even change the animations much when you open chests, or when you glide, when enemies die, when you use the grappling chain thing, when you attack....
Summary: After reading the critics reviews of this game, I was pretty excited (they said it borrowed the best elements from Legend of Zelda and God of War... two of my favorite games ;). Then I played the game... yeah :/ To be fair, the game does play like god of war but the story, game mechanics (camera/controls) and overall fun factor doesn't even compare to GoW. There are elements of puzzle solving but to compare it to Legend of Zelda???
Pros: Hack and slash with guided pseudo-autonomy/free-roam (which comedically suits the divinity aspect of the story line), and easy uncomplicated combos for fluid combat. The music was very decent, too.
Cons: Camera view(s) blow and ruined the fun for me. Also, the look of the game is just too rough and colorful which made it seem cartoony and uninteresting (almost Power Ranger-esque) for such an epic setting.
