Aaaargh! WHY!? Why must games with potential be generic knockoffs of other games?

Summary: Very little good to say here. The graphics are average but nothing jaw dropping. Combat mechanics are bland and boring. Story is original but hardly engaging. Gameplay steals from Zelda and God of War to create a game that is obviously lacking in creativity and steals the best elements from other games without really adding anything to the equation.
Summary: i bought darksiders and loved it you know ,everyone said it copyed god of war i was ,your full of ***,well then i heard about god of war 3 so i knew i had to get it yo first i bought the collection for ps3 ,be4 darksiders wouldve gotten a 9.5 now more like a 4.0 ,it copys everything from god of war ,its ok to use other games stuff but true developer talent lies when it can make its own game
Summary: First off, I'd been highly anticipating this game ever since Joe Mad! stopped Battle Chasers and began doing game design work. After he released some early concept art, I was hooked. After watching some of the interviews with those responsible for Darksiders, their love for classic games and their boasts of bringing all those old-time standards up to date, I was salivating.
Summary: This game can be acquired dirt cheap these days so I thought I'd give it a shot after the glowing reviews. Well, once again, it's shown that you just can't trust glowing reviews as I found this game painfully repetitive and honestly over-rated. Sure, it looks good, but the game play gets boring after a while as you do the same thing over and over again.
