Summary: After having played 'Demon's Souls,' I felt that other videogames, which had originally entertained me, became stale, lifeless shells that held your hand every step of the way. This is why, when I saw the trailer for a game that looked similar to Demon's Souls, I immediately looked it up to find that it was indeed a spiritual successor to the original. Demon's souls had been my favorite game of all time, and when I finally was able to play 'Dark Souls' I was enthralled.
Summary: Dark Souls was the first of From Software's creations that I ever played, and I was hooked instantly. Never before had I played a game that was so terrifying, not purely from how dark and sadistic the game was, but also from the fear of dying around the next unknown corner. The game was a marvel to me, and although it took some work to get adjusted to the punishing gameplay, in the end it was all worth it when I finally lit the final bonfire after defeating the final...
Summary: Alright what can I say about dark souls that you probally have not heard? This game has a amazing story, while it does not throw the story into your face you take it in as you progress through reading item descriptions, Dialogues with NPC's the enemies themselves. This game is truly a masterpiece filled with Helplessness but also great achievement when you overcome it.
An experience. What you make of it is up to your skill (plus a player hint mechanic)

Summary: I like it so far. I have not completed the game, and I can honestly say this game is the hardest I've ever played. I'm more of a casual gamer, usually patient, but this game definitely had me frustrated. However, this was in no way the fault of the game, for the game has brilliant depth for those willing to push on after countless deaths.
Summary: "You see, I resisted Dark Souls partly because people kept telling me, 'It's good once you're used to it' and I've always held that the same thing can be said about being boiled alive, so I'd ask them to explain why it's good and they'd reply, 'Ooh, we can't tell you. You'll just have to find out for yourself.' And then I'd say, 'Shut up or **** off, ideally both, in either order!
Summary: One of the best games I've played. A bit too challenging even when you're playing it all over again. Great game mechanics & amazing story. I would recommend having the strategy guide, simply because there's very little direction as to where to progress in the game. Open world and all is really good, but mixed with the difficulty of the game is not that enjoyable.
Summary: This is, by far, my favorite game of all time. As you probably already know, the game is extremely hard, but that's not all there is to it by any means. The story is excellent, but it's not shoved down your throat through constant cutscenes and monologues like most other games. You have to actually pay close attention to item descriptions and other things like that, and I feel it's much better and more immersive that way.
Summary: I had heard good things about Dark Souls and wanted to try it before Dark Souls II came out. The game is very unique and I have never played anything like it. The gameplay really stands out, withthe melee combat probably being the best I have ever played in a game. Each weapon has its own moveset, which helps to constantly keep things fresh until you find the one thats right for you. The online play is also unique, taking place without traditional lobbies.
