Summary: Do you enjoy hardcore gaming like the old days NES hard? Do you like dark settings where you take your heroes journey as you figure out the mysteries of the unknown world around you? Do you like torturing yourself from constant abuse game throws at you? then this is a game for you.
Summary: After having played 'Demon's Souls,' I felt that other videogames, which had originally entertained me, became stale, lifeless shells that held your hand every step of the way. This is why, when I saw the trailer for a game that looked similar to Demon's Souls, I immediately looked it up to find...
Summary: Dark Souls was the first of From Software's creations that I ever played, and I was hooked instantly. Never before had I played a game that was so terrifying, not purely from how dark and sadistic the game was, but also from the fear of dying around the next unknown corner.
Summary: Alright what can I say about dark souls that you probally have not heard? This game has a amazing story, while it does not throw the story into your face you take it in as you progress through reading item descriptions, Dialogues with NPC's the enemies themselves.
Summary: First of all, everybody has got it wrong:this game is NOT hard-it's tedious. The hardest thing about this game is the bosses, and they're really not that hard neither. The tediousness of it is having to run for 5 minutes just to fight the boss everytime.
An experience. What you make of it is up to your skill (plus a player hint mechanic)

Summary: I like it so far. I have not completed the game, and I can honestly say this game is the hardest I've ever played. I'm more of a casual gamer, usually patient, but this game definitely had me frustrated.
Summary: I'm a late comer to Dark Souls, but it was recommended to me by some trusted sources, so I gave it a shot. On the whole, it did not leave me disappointed. To be clear, this is most definitely a niche game. Not everyone will like this game.
Summary: "You see, I resisted Dark Souls partly because people kept telling me, 'It's good once you're used to it' and I've always held that the same thing can be said about being boiled alive, so I'd ask them to explain why it's good and they'd reply, 'Ooh, we can't tell you.
