Summary: Ok, I'll admit that I overlooked Dante's Inferno for years. Everything I read indicated that it was a God of War clone, and a pretty bad God of War clone at that. Now that I'm getting a little closer to sunsetting my PS3 and moving on to the PS4, this was one of the games buried in my Amazon...
Summary: yes it is similar to god of war, and yes it is using one of the greatest poems of all time as its story. THATS WHAT MAKES IT F-ING AWSOME. its not like getting more god of war stlye games is bad, and this one stays close to the inferno's descriptions and story.
Summary: Imagine this if you will, the team working on Dante's Inferno are in a meeting. One man stands up and says "What are we going to do about the game play for an epic poem?" After deliberation another man mumbles to himself, "man I love god of war" and then another looks up and says "Me too, but there...
Summary: A book come to life in the interest of the action-oriented gamer. This game is awesome and I'd recommend it to any PS3 fan (or XBOX 360 fan). If you've ever read the real book that is The Divine Comedy: The Inferno, then this game is the best modern day interpretation I have ever seen (or played).
Summary: If you are a God of War fan then this is a game for you. And for us older fans for the most part the repeating 0 need not to be as fast as the 0 in God of War. You speend 99% of the game desending into hell and most of the save points are well spaced.

Summary: I bought this game and had it delivered on the release date. This game really exceeded my expectations the first time I played it. The best part of this game is that the setting is based on a poem written centuries ago and now, you have the chance to retell it in your own way in the same setting.
Summary: Lastimosamente es un juego muy corto, pero la excelencia grafica de la ambientacion infernal es impresionante. Duramente criticado por su semenjanza a GOW, pero historias totalmente diferentes, basado en la primera parte de la Divina comedia. 1-Infierno. 2-Purgatorio. 3-Cielo.
Great game, felt like God of War .... But their is nothing wrong with that!

Summary: Many critics gave this game a bad rating, because of its similarities to God of War, and while I will admit it is like god of war, I also have to point out that God of War is A GREAT GAME, and their is nothing wrong with being like it. The game follows Dante's trip through Hell (Inferno).
Summary: Let me just get this out of the way first: Dante's Inferno is most definitely a rip-off of the God of War gameplay. That is completely undebateable and unquestionable. Now that's not necessarily a bad thing.
