A series hurt by the DLC generation.

Bryson Wade, Amazon
4 February 2014
  • Summary: There are too many slow songs & most of the classic songs are DLC. There are some good songs but I'll take DDRMAX2 over this any day.

Ugh

Jason, Amazon
5 May 2013
  • Summary: I was expecting to purchase the original Japanese songs off psn for 5 dollars each what I ended up with are dubbed versions of the Japanese songs which completely suck in my opinion. I ended up spending a total of 85 dollars for the extra songs and this product combined. It's as described but I just expected more Konami you don't need to westernize everything Japanese music is awesome!

Terrible song selection

Novibear, Amazon
31 January 2013
  • Summary: Still fun for parties though. Which is the main reason I purchased it. I wished they would have at least made more purchasable DLC...

Konami Missed The Mark With This One...

Makeda DeJene "The Grim Phreaker", Amazon
23 October 2012
  • Summary: I've been playing Dance Dance Revolution since 1999. In fact I was a "professional" playing some of the most difficult song levels with ease. Konami's signature tracks are what made the game so popular as well as remixes of already existing songs; it continued with the same formula until... this piece of crap. I don't know who made the song choices for this version, but they need not pick songs for DDR EVER, AGAIN.

DDR anyone?

Kasanwidjojo Romeo "rom", Amazon
26 October 2011
  • Summary: I was always a mazed at the moves the kids made with DDR in the arcade and in homes with PS2 DDR. Never having owned a PS2, DDR was one of the first games i looked for on the PS3. Initially the primary use for the PS3 was media center capabilities. If any gaming would be done on the PS3 it would be FUN related and Simulations. It is way easier to watch then to have a go at it yourself. The legs get a complete workout as well as cardio. FUN and intense!

Dont get it if you played ddr before, if not go ahead and enjoy it.

bladez178, Ebay
19 August 2011
  • Summary: This is a good game if you just want to play dance dance revolution. However if you've played any other ddr game before you would realize that this game is a terrible downgrade. It's music are all mostly slow paced and dont match to the theme of the game like the old ddr songs did. This is by far the worst ddr game in terms of music selection according to alot of true ddr veterans.

DDR ps3 CLUB MODE?

buyerofbooks, Amazon
10 August 2011
  • Summary: DDR3 regular mode is ok once you get some songs unlocked. DDR Club mode is horrible. Someone should get fired for this feature. Why does club mob suck so bad? It has a sucky selection of songs. It alway plays SLOW, no BEAT songs in beginner mode, it is very difficult to get it to leave beginner level but one mistake it sends you right back to it.

Not the DDR I know and love

N. Albright, Amazon
10 August 2011
  • Summary: When I heard that they made a DDR game for PS3, naturally I was excited. But alas this game does not do the rest of the DDR series justice... DDR is known for its original soundtracks and remixes of some popular songs.... this is 90 % crappy american pop music with a few songs from classic DDR games haphazardly thrown in and not even very good songs at that...

A nice update for DDR fans, but nothing special for everyone else

Nutwiisystem.Com, Amazon
10 August 2011
  • Summary: A lot of Playstation 3 owners have been waiting a long time for Dance Dance Revolution to make it to the PS3. Four long years later, it's finally arrived. Was it worth the wait? The first thing I noticed when I opened my DDR box was a brand new, sleek black dance pad. it definitely looks a lot "cooler" than the old white dance pads on the Wii and the PS3. The pad pretty much works the same as always--just plug it into an available USB port and you're all set.
