Cutting It A Bit Too Close

3 October 2011
  • Conclusion: In the world of Qix clones, Cubixx HD does enough to separate itself with a variety of challenges and some interesting modes. It loses some points for not including any online in a game that offers 7-player co-op though.

Cubixx HD PS3 Review

Console Obsession
30 September 2011
  • Excerpt: We’ve seen it with the likes of Tetris, Bomberman, Super Monkey Ball and many others: simple ideas that prove to be addictive during play. Cubixx HD (a much buffed up PlayStation Mini) is one of these games – a rather devilish mixture of fast and fun puzzle action, and is just about as addictive as it is frustrating.

Review: Cubixx HD

5 December 2011
  • Excerpt: Cubixx HD takes a little while to click – the initially deceptively simple gameplay soon making way for frantic attempts at high scoring combos and ever more daring, dangerous leaps of faith across every face on the cube.  When it does, Laughing Jackal’s PlayStation 3 high definition, super slick upgrade of one of the best Minis made hovers on the cusp of absolute, delightful joy, its cool vector lines and repetitive backdrops combining with driving, bass-heavy rhythms...
  • Pros: A comprehensive update of a great Minis game., Plenty to do., Local multiplayer is great., Online leaderboards for everything.
  • Cons: No online play., Iffy interface design.

Review: "Cubixx HD" (PS3)

23 September 2011
  • Pros: Das PSP-"Cubixx" jetzt in HD, Highscorejagd, 7-Spieler-Deathmatch
  • Cons: Keine Story, Geringer Wiederspielwert

Cubixx HD

14 September 2011
