Summary: My expectations for this game were certainly not high. And when the choppy text of the startup screen first popped up, I assumed I was about to find another half-functional children's movie game. Once the game actually began though, I have to admit that I didn't want to put it down. I rented the game for an easy Platinum trophy for the PS3. And it certainly is that. Yet the puzzling in the game eventually gets pretty clever. The controls are simple and intuitive.
Summary: First of all I'd like to say that this is very obviously a kids game, and it doesn't hide this at all. Unfortunately, the one thing it's not is a FUN game. At the start you see a couple of cut screens, and then find yourself in a lab. You are a wacky scientist (sorry I haven't seen the film) who has constructed some wonderful invention that causes food to rain from the sky, and now you have to tidy up your mess.
Summary: Not a bad game but not a great game either. My son loves it but the graphics and gameplay is basic and nothing new. It does have multiplayer co-op which is good but it is limited in movement(like say Shrek 2 was whereby you are sharing the same screen space). It almost feels like they have basically rushed this game out pre-movie release.
