Excerpt: In this day and age of apps, minis and other cheap gaming downloadables, it’s overwhelming to sift through the garbage and pull out a gem. This especially becomes true when you delve into the puzzle genre as more puzzle apps are churned out faster than than your 4G connection can handle. When I started playing Zoe Mode’s Chime I took all of these facts into consideration, but yet remained unbiased.
Excerpt: Last year, both the Xbox and PC owners got their hands on the highly-addictive puzzle game Chime. Now, it has finally come to the PS3 with a few updates and additions that make the game just that much better.
Pros: + Nice visuals, + Fantastic music, + New boards, + Local multiplayer is a blast
Conclusion: You might wish for it to be a mite bit more complex, but this is the most soothing puzzle/music fusion to hit the genre so far. Haunting melodies and mesmerizing visuals combine with solid single and multiplayer action for an excellent package.
