Excerpt: In this day and age of apps, minis and other cheap gaming downloadables, it’s overwhelming to sift through the garbage and pull out a gem. This especially becomes true when you delve into the puzzle genre as more puzzle apps are churned out faster than than your 4G connection can handle. When I started playing Zoe Mode’s Chime I took all of these facts into consideration, but yet remained unbiased.
Conclusion: Simply Put, Chime Super Deluxe is all about the music. The Xbox 360 and Windows versions of the game only had a half dozen songs at most. This Super Deluxe version has ten songs to choose from and play through. All of them are fine electronic and ambient tracks from artists like Philip Glass and Orbital.
Excerpt: Last year, both the Xbox and PC owners got their hands on the highly-addictive puzzle game Chime. Now, it has finally come to the PS3 with a few updates and additions that make the game just that much better.
Pros: + Nice visuals, + Fantastic music, + New boards, + Local multiplayer is a blast
Conclusion: You might wish for it to be a mite bit more complex, but this is the most soothing puzzle/music fusion to hit the genre so far. Haunting melodies and mesmerizing visuals combine with solid single and multiplayer action for an excellent package.
