Summary: This game is a hybrid between an on-rails shooter and a rhythm game. The graphics are excellent both on a technical and artistic level. However, it is the music and the synchronized gameplay is what keeps you coming for more: that is the unique experience! The game only has 5 levels and an extra level. It is really short! And thus, only 4 stars. A lot of repetition is required to Master each level, but one can get through them in 1 or 2 tries.
Looking for something with less 'realistic' violence
27 October 2013
Summary: I got Journey for my boys a couple of months before picking up child of eden. They love both games. I don't mind cartoon violence, but when my oldest son played two of the 007 games at a friend's house, then came home and asked me which weapon I preferred to use while I was in the Army, I felt that things had gotten a little too dark, realistic, and inappropriate. Obviously, I was looking for a different style of game for both boys, but I like watching them play this.
Summary: This game is a game but it's also a total mind trip. I gave away my Playstation Move quite some time ago. But due to this game I will be buying another one just so the game is a bit more "trippy". We currently play with just a controller & it works fine.
Summary: If you like the rave scene then this is probably for you. If you think that techno music and massive numbers of flashing and pulsing lights will give you a seizure or a headache then stay away. Mostly this one just made me queasy. Its probably interesting for people exploring altered states of consciousness.
Summary: the game is visually pretty, however its not very easy to catch on to at first. Not really child friendly either *not that interesting*...you have to replay levels multiple times just so you can unlock the next level which is kind of weird *its possible that I'm not that good at the game its hard to tell whether your turning the right things colors*...
Summary: This has got to be the bomb when it comes to special light effects. Sometimes it can become a tad bit dizzying at times with the tight light sequences and sound effects. What I like most about this game is the fact that it does not put a 'virtual automatic assault weapon' in the hands of my pre-teen sons. This one is truly a family game, with quite an interesting storyline. Best Regards, Lorne Sandy.
Summary: The colors and graphics were nice. Makes for an interesting game play with all combined + the music. Not for people who have issues with flashing lights or colors. (I could see it doing some harm, if one did have these problems.) I don't but my eyes still water if I play the game for a round then look away from the screen. Final Note: Would recommend this game to a friend. Love it!
Summary: Bought this game because of the hype surrounding previous game. First, the move controller reticule is loose and i can't get it to calibrate properly. The game has great music but game play feel repetitive and boring. I like playing move games but this one i would not recommend to anyone.
