Summary: I bought this because I expected the same greatness as the first but was I wrong. Simply put, this is awful and HUGE waste of potential with a game holding a fantasy pedigree like castlevania.
Summary: This game is not a castlevania game. It is not set in a castle. It should just be called lords of shadow. Castlevania games are supposed to be set inn a castle. every other castlevania is. This was a huge waste of money. Just save your money and buy something else this game is not a castlevania game.
Summary: This game is nearly identical to those of the God of War series. It has similar controls, similar combos, similar fights, similar puzzles, and similar death animations. I liked God of War and I like this game, but it is simply too repetitive. A lot of hack-n-slashing, There are a few cool combos and different ways to kill people, but when it comes down to it, all you have to push is square and triangle and things die.
Summary: I'll never understand where buttons flashing on the screen can be classified as "fun" or "entertaining". Understand I am not a fan of the god of war series either. The regular gameplay in this game is fantastic, and just as good as the previous incarnations on the xbox or ps2. However, once you get to a boss, forget having any skill requirements whatsoever. All the skills you learned are now useless.
This game has many glitches and excessive puzzles.

Summary: This game is plagued by lousy camera angles, unresponsive controls, and excessive puzzles. The story line is decent, but because of the constant frustrations caused by lousy character control and terrible camera angles any real fun is defeated. The excessive presence of puzzles in the levels suggests that the good people at Konami ran out of level design ideas. Too bad, this had the potential to be a great game. The highlight of the game would have to be it's soundtrack.
Summary: This game could have been so much more. While the combat in LoS2 can be great fun at times and the environments & enemies can be truely beautiful almost everything else in the game just feels disappointing. Dracula's latest adventure starts out quite strong introducing you to most of his abilities and setting him up as the powerful Prince of Darkness; sadly from there its not so much down hill as off the face of a cliff where the game quickly descends into a nonsensical...
