Summary: My grown boys really wanted this for Christmas so I got it for them. They played it that week and haven't touched it since. It's probably better for younger kids or if you get the weapon/gun thing that you can use instead of the controller.
Summary: The calibration cannot be set on our 46" flatscreen. It cuts off before the corners and I tried from different distances. It's off enough that the kids can't use the scope to play or they'll miss every shot.
Summary: I decided to get this game for my girlfriend and I after playing at a local arcade in New Orleans. The game itself is fun and reminds me of the good ole fashion duck hunt game for NES however the accuracy of the "top shot elite" is poor at best. As you will find in most reviews you must stand around 5+ feet away from the sensor bar in order for the Top shot to even register on screen.
Summary: This game is ok for the most part. It does not hold a candle to the Cabelas Outdoor Adventures for the gamecube though. PROS Good Graphics Good Story line Cons You have to go to point a to point b. It is not a open world style game like outdoor adventures only 2 rifles, a shotgun, and a bow to choose from Like I said, its a ok game but it could be much better than they made it.
Summary: I've always wanted to try one of these hunting games but this was my first. Like others, I had a hell of a time trying to calibrate the controller. I have a 46" TV and sit about 10' away from the screen. Once I finally got it to work the scope still didn't line up with the cursor on the screen. There was also a big lag when ever we would aim at a different part of the screen we'd have to wait a second for the cursor to catch up.
Summary: I got this as a gift for my boyfriend, he loved it. He was really excited about the gun, but the tv wouldn't calibrate it correctly so he couldn't use it. He played it for probably 3 days straight and ended up beating the game. It usually takes him a week or two to beat most games he buys. He had a lot of fun playing it but said it would be better if perhaps it had an expansion pack or something to make it more dificult.
