Summary: Thought that I would like to bowl in my living room and gave this game a shot. The game was boring and didn't offer a lot. It was tricky to figure out and I lost interest soon after firing it up. I recommend getting out of the house and doing some real bowling.
Summary: I was excited to get this game, but was very dissapointed. We spent the first half an hour trying to figure out how to connect the move controller and then we cant figure out how roll the ball quickly. Its always under 10 miles an hour and slow moving game. BORING! Played it like 5 times and is collecting dust now.
Summary: The menu on this game is so convoluted and clunky that it takes your 20 minutes to play a quick play game. Not to mention that fact that you can't use the Move controllers to navigate the main menu so you have to hook up a standard controller to get started. Once you finally get to bowl, the controller is really no more useful than the standard controller since it only allows you to scroll left and right and once you lined up the shot you can THEN use the Move to spin...
Summary: We spent a lot of time setting up the game to use the move controllers and ended up having to share one. The game itself is all right, but when your character is on the approach, he starts moving and you have to get in sync with him. I would have prefered for my character to be in sync with my movements. Once we got it all figured out, the game itself was pretty fun. I just hope that when we play again, we can remember how to set up the move controller.
Summary: The controls for this game were very poorly done; especially if you've played a Wii bowling game. You don't 'roll' the ball - you have to throw it; and that's not how you bowl in real life. The whole thing was very unnatural feeling and a complete letdown. I highly recommend you find a demo / borrow a friends copy - whatever it takes to try this - before you buy it. To me, this was a waste of 30 bucks...
Summary: Sony Move is an outstanding control system and setup is easy and automatic with other games such as Sports Champions. But not with this game. I required multiple frustrating failed attempts to setup the Move controller with this game before I finally succeeded and I suspect most casual gamers may fail at this task and conclude that their Move controller does not work with this game.
Summary: I just recieved this game, after playing bowling on a Wii, this is very plain. Yes the graphics are super but unlike the games with the release, their is no calibration except for pointing the device at the camera. while the sport games that came with my bundle have intricate control, turning the hand, rotating etc. this is a swing and throw, almost no curve can be applied and you have to whip your arm super fast to get any speed on the ball ..
