Summary: I loved the old Brothers in Arms games and was hoping for more excellent squad controlling action. But this game goes a little too much into Goldeneye mode- you often find yourself seperated from your squad and doing missions alone. Not what I was looking for. There are some levels with tanks that are pretty fun, but again, there is no squad control for those ones. It also takes the whole story of the cursed handgun a little far and leads to long cut scenes.
Summary: Let me just star by saying, if you've played Black Opps before playing this game, you might not like it. It does not flow every easily and at times you will find it frustrating. However, once you begin to get the hang of it, it does get better. This is not an all out shoot out game, it is more of a strategy game so keep that in mind. Other than that, it gets an okay rating by me.
Summary: First of all, this is NOT a run-and-gun FPS. Actually, it's a TPS (Third-person-shooter). Anyway, this requires a more slow and methodical play style than your Halo or Resistance type of shooter. On-line play is OK, but the poor controls really kill the fun. The Good: - Very good cut-scenes. Helps move the story along. And there IS a story, which some may not care about. For me, it kept things more interesting.
Summary: This game is good if you don't have any of the heavy hitters to play (i.e Call of Duty, Killzone2, Uncharted, Gears 2-xbox) The game plays OK and its kind of fun. The graphics are good. I did not go into the multiplayer section. But I heard good things. All in all its a great game if u can get it for under 30 dollars. Otherwise I'd think again.
Summary: The storyline and offline missions of this game are not bad but this game just isn't enough to impress me these days. You know how when the PS3 was just released and none of the games were very impressive and didn't utilize the power of the PS3. Well this is one of those games. The graphics aren't bad but don't have the wow factor that makes you want to stand up and applaud. The artificial intelligence isn't great either.
Summary: I'm a complete gaming n00b, never played a FPS until I loaded BiA:HH into the console I originally bought to play the Band of Brothers Blu-Ray edition. (Side note: spectacular.) So I don't have any prior experience with how a FPS should go. I will say this: so far, this game is loads of fun for me. I'm a WW2 geek, obviously, and I love the squad-based action used in this game.
Summary: I loved the past BIA games so I was definitely looking forward to this one. After playing it over twice I have to say it is a fun game. The only problem is that it offers nothing really new to the series. Okay so you now have machine gunners and rocket launchers and you can finally take cover over obstacles but this simply isn't enough. It feels like the same BIA games of the past only its now sprinkled with better graphics.
