Summary: Brothers in Arms was just doing its own thing, during the 7th Generation. Rather than take Cues from Call of Duty, it implemented its own ideas. All of them miserably failed. And, the story sucks, and the voice acting made me mute the game IMMEDIATELY. Wasted potential at its finest. Want realism? Try Red Orchestra. Want Fun? I recommend Call of Duty: World at War. Want a good game? Try almost any other mainstream shooter, on the system.
Summary: Can't even be bothered to write a real review. This game is bad for so many reasons. Cover system is horrible, once you take cover the game moves in to 3rd person which completely takes you out of the moment. Voice acting is terrible and character models are unbelievably cheesy. Played this game for 30 minutes before completely giving up. As a HUGE fan of the original Band of Brothers this is the most disappointing game I've ever played. Seriously, it's that bad.
Summary: I had high hopes for this title, especially as I really liked the first 2 titles in this series. Unfortunately it falls short. Here's why: - Graphics are cartoonish and not up to current FPS standards. There is little changed since the first title. Basically 2001 level graphics. - The player is limited in his actions; you cannot jump, crawl, etc. Also, you cannot climb through windows, or even over/onto the smallest of objects.
Summary: This game sucks. I know it has a serious take on a serious issue, but it is still a game and should have more fun value than it offers. It is very repetitive and like call of duty 3, you're stuck using the MP40 throughout the game. Controls are bad and the online...why did they bother adding it? Just cause its a first person shooter doesn't mean it should have bad online play. The story is great and the acting is perfect, should have been made into an animated film.
