Summary: My friend recommend this game to me because he played it on the PC while I play it on the ps3. The first few hours were great. I really loved the idea of having an RPG/FPS game in one. I loved how they made the graphics look like a comic book. It was very different and it lighten the mood up a bit (not that this game was even dark). I'm not a hardcore gamer. I'm just a regular gamer that plays when I get home from work for about an hour or two.
Summary: Choose from 4 different characters, each with their own activated ability and three distinct skill specialization trees. Unfortunately, some of the specs aren't even a little bit competitive. Because of the number of variables for each weapon (damage, fire rate, reload speed, accuracy, elemental damage, etc.) every gun you pick up has its own feel. The number of playstyles available makes the game more tactical and dynamic than most shooters.
Summary: Me being a great fan of RPGs thought I should give this game a try. I was a bit disappointed on the lack of RPG elements and minimal exploration in the game but it was easily forgotten with it's silly dialogue and decent gameplay. It was fun to play through once with friends but it really couldn't keep my attention long enough to go through it again. The game was good enough to get a solid 7/10.
Summary: I'm a big fan of FPS going back to the original Wolfenstein. Based on reviews online I really looked forward to playing this game. I traded in a bunch of my old games at gamestop and bought the GOTY edition new. I had a great time for about the first hour or two playing the game then I became inexplicably nauseated. I walked away and after about an hour felt better. I started playing again but within 20-30 minutes again I started feeling ill; nauseated.
