Summary: glad i got the GOTY edition, so much dlc... The game feels a lil slow to start but once you quit picking up every weapon and opening every box it goes along smooth. i dont keep anything but legendary items.
Summary: Game: Borderlands Game of the Year Edition Genre: FPS/RPG Developer: 2k Games/GearBox Software System: Steam (PC) Total Score: 86/100 Value Score: 8.6/10 • Story: 8/10 • Characters: 7/10 • GamePlay: 8/10 • Graphics: 9/10 • Sound: 10/10 • Music: 6/10 • Length: 10/10 • Replay Value: 10/10 • Player Value: 8/10 Pros +A great combination of RPG and First Person Shooting elements +Great customization and variety of weapon types and items +Huge world with a lot of exploration...
Summary: This game got boring very quickly. It starts with an interesting introduction but after that, throughout the whole game, the storyline is completely lost. Borderlands has one of the thinnest storylines I have encountered in an FPS. Even Codemaster's Bodycount has more depth. Your characters likewise have no personality. The gameplay is very repetitive as all the enemies and maps are basically the same.
Summary: I ain’t gonna bite, pro’ly I was concerned that I might not like BORDERLANDS, as I’ve played games with stylised graphics before and have found this type of design can reduce the immersive qualities that I love about gaming. I need not have worried. Borderlands is one of the best games I’ve played. The visuals are very impressive and suck you right in. This is open-world gaming at it’s best, with many large maps to explore as you complete the numerous missions.
Very excited to receive it haven't played first one yet but loved 2

Summary: I HONESTLY wasn't SURE about this game when it came out hence the reason I only bought it now. But I played the second at a friend's and LOVED IT. I figured I would play through the 1st before the second. Cell Shade is not my first choice for an FPS but this game will suck you in with Quirky Characters to say the LEAST :P And GREAT environments Borderlands though I haven't played this one yet I KNOW I WILL LOVE IT JUST LIKE THE second one.
Summary: To be honest, I kind of ignored this game until 2011. But after hearing all the positive hype and seeing a few gameplay videos I got curious. I was pleasantly surprised. A FPS that was also an RPG. The main game is a bit on the short side, but the DLC does make up for that adding some fresh new locations to keep your interest going . The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned was visually a nice change of pace and zombiw hunting was kind of fun, but did get a tad repetitive.
Summary: This is a great game! Whether you just want a fun game you can play by yourself or you want to play with a few friends online, you can do it. Even after you beat it, there are perks to playing through it again. The game of the year edition has the downloadable missions; which is like a whole other game.
