Excerpt: "...just a ‘Blur’? === Introduction to Blur === Blur was the single edition game in a planned series made by ‘Activision’. Activision brought out an earlier successful games producer (Bizzare Creations) which made titles like ‘Project Gotham Racing’. The game ‘Blur’ provides you with a real challenging and somewhat fun game of racing combined with attack. This is not your usual racing game by far. Remember the famous ‘Mario Carts’ which launched ...
Pros: Excellent mutliplayer functions, massive range of cars to drive and interesting game content .
Cons: A lack of Single player option modes, some poor graphics in areas
Summary: This game is not a simulator and I knew that when I ordered it. The graphics are just ok, no more. The speed factor is not great. You don't feel the speed when your car is near is maximum speed you feel like you drive at 75 km/h. The bigest problem of this game is when you lose the control of your car and you also go the wrong way, the game is not made to let you go the wrong way, it will always respawn your car on the track. This is getting really frustrating at long.
Conclusion: Very solid game but i feel the single players a bit of drag and i got bored, there are better racers out there but for 9.99 it's definitley worth getting especially if your looking for multiplayer games.
Summary: played the demo, loved the fun factor with the catchy music. graphically it is disappointing. may remind you of mario cart but this fast paced game is much more fun. fast paced racing whilst not only attacking enemies infront but looking behind for enemies and incoming bombs. the satisfaction of dodging an incoming bomb via the rear view mirror is satisfying. buy it if you like fun online play. don't buy it if you want a driving sim.
