Summary: I have been waiting for this game for long time to release on pc..this game has good control mechanics button mashing.it might be too hard but very enjoyable.and very very amazing soundtrack.if you like games like old NES castlevania games you would definitely found this game amazing worth for your $10
Summary: I really loved this game.It was so long ago the last time i played a platform game.great graphics ,fluid action but a jump that is really hard to master.i bought this game for 5 bucks on steam.great deal
Summary: I actually liked this game at first. But after a few levels I found this game to be broken. It's action platforming not unlike Shank. But where shank had very fluid and intuitive controls and fun bosses, BloodRayne does not. The controls are too hard to master. I didn't play through it, even though it's free. It's a pitty because this could have been very fun if the controls where good.
Summary: Old school gaming at it's finest. Beautiful graphics, wonderful soundtrack (even the 8-bit one Great controls and difficulty level so hard, i felt like i'm little kid again. In other words: awesome. Not for newbies. This game is pure GOLD to all gamers who love good challenge and old-school gameplay.
Summary: THIS GAME IS ONE OF THE BEST SIDE SCROLLERS I HAVE EVER PLAYED! BLOOD, FINISHERS, SMOOTH PLAY AND A SEXY MAIN CHARACTER! THIS GAMES SOUNDTRACK IS ALSO TOP NOTCH. I PLAY THIS WHEN I WANT TO WHOOP SOME PASTE BUT IT IS DEFINITELY WORTH TIME. FANS OF THE OLD GAMES MAY HATE IT BUT I LIKE IT HOW IT IS!
Summary: Okay, this game is HARD. Super hard. But it is so from being legitimately challenging. It is so frustrating, but never insurmountable. I beat this game and am proud of it. The last 3 levels are brutal, so be prepared if you try to make it to the end. The art style is fantastic, but the story is a bit nonexistent. For the sheer hardcore, quality gameplay though, I definitely recommend this to old school gamers looking for a challenge.
Summary: This game produce mixed feelings to the gamer. The graphics design is really nice and enjoyable to watch. The music is so generic that you will forget it soon. But most importantly, the game play and controls of this game feels kinda weird, sometimes u feel it smooth in a fight just to enter another battle and realize u are taking much damage from ranged enemies because u struggle to avoid the projectiles.
Summary: I like the direction they tried to take with this new iteration of BloodRayne; a hand-drawn side scrolling brawler/platformer. However, it simply fails to leave a lasting impression. The hand-drawn sprites and environments are very nice and the animation is fluid, however it does lack in the variety department in both scenery and enemies.
Summary: I don't know, really. There's so much to hate about this game. Actually, that really only describes the frustration level. I mean it's nice to try to compliment a game that harkens back to the old days when one single "should be easy' jump means losing an entire health bar due to repeated missed and hitting annoying spikes. Could of been great, almost was good, but not worth the cash. Memory lane does not make a good game.
Summary: This is the closest anyone has ever come to duplicating my favorite game of all time: Castlevania Symphony of the Night. The influence in undeniable, and BRB does the formula justice. My only hope for the (hopefully inevitable) sequel is that they add more RPG elements to the game. Other than that, they wouldn't have to change anything. As a guy who's been steady gaming since 1984 (born 1980) I can honestly tell you this is my favorite style of game.
