Summary: I should have seen it coming... Sequels usually suck. There are a few places where Blitz II is improved over the original (graphics are amazing- Uniforms get dirty, players slip in the rain, Looks better than any other football game out there) but overall, the original game is much better and this feels like a downgrade.
Summary: 2 player is a lot of fun. No issues there, but unless you enjoy throwing your controller at your t.v. don't bother playing the campaign. The computer was always cheap, even in the first one but this one was just ridiculous. If the computer seems to be winning no matter what you do, do yourself a favor: Just put the controller down and let the game play out. Because whether you like it or not, the computer will win.
Summary: Well. Having enjoyed previous Blitz games I find this game a little untidy. From grammatical errors to the storyline itself... My biggest problem with the game, however, is that it is near impossible to get the needle to hit the mark. Now I know that is probably my fault, but still. It took me awhile to figure out the "bone snap in place" technique.
Conclusion: I thought this game wasn't as bad as some people have been making out. If you like smashing guys and seeing folk get hurt then give it a go. As for the review below about the "incorrect sizing of the posts", im sorry but is this not just a game. Do you believe that zombies walk the earth like in Res 5, WHen someone has to complain about something so silly like that then they prob really couldnt find anything wrong with the game but hated the fact he liked it
