Bleach: Soul Resurrección

Destructoid
2 September 2013
  • Summary: My hands are tired. My right hand in particular is a numb, unresponsive mass of flesh and bone that refuses to do anything I tell it to. I blame Bleach: Soul Resurreccion , a new cut-'em-up that requires some serious button mashing. I have mashed those buttons for a couple of days now for this review. And now I have to type?

Bleach Soul Resurreccion

ablegamers.com
21 November 2011
  • Excerpt: Bleach: Soul Resurreccion (resurrection in English) (BSR) has a bit in common with a game series with the initials “DW” as they both follow a fairly repetitive gameplay experience that is topped-off by lots and lots of button mashing. Where it separates itself is in its accessibility; BSR almost does everything I’d like to see from a game where both hearing and visually impaired gamers would benefit. Do I think it’s worth buying, no.

Test Bleach Soul Resurreccion

Generation NT
15 October 2011

Review: Bleach: Soul Resurreccion (Sony PS3)

Diehard GameFAN
11 October 2011
  • Summary: Bleach: Soul Resurreccion is a fine little beat ‘em up that will make longtime fans of the series happy but will fail to convert any newcomers to the flock. The game is pretty uninviting in regards to story as nothing is explained and the game assumes you have seen every episode of the series going into it so if you haven’t be prepared to have no idea what is going on.

Still Less Filler Than the Anime

GameCritics.com
11 October 2011
  • Conclusion: Aizen's ridiculously slow power-walk as his default movement speed.
  • Pros: I can ogle Aizen as much as I want, and nobody can stop me.
  • Cons: Aizen is the cheesiest character in a game full of cheese.

Bleach: Soul Resurrección

Playstation Illustrated
10 October 2011
  • Excerpt: A few weeks ago when I looked at Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 , all I really wanted was to rant about Bleach: Soul Resurrección . Both games share similar Dynasty Warriors gameplay, though while Gundam 3 seems reluctant to evolve, Bleach: Soul Resurrección is completely willing to build on the simple "Kill All the Bad Guys" formula. It isn't a complete success, but it is loads of fun, at least if you're a fan.

Bleach: Soul Resurreccion

Strategy Informer
6 October 2011
  • Conclusion: Despite those drawbacks however, Bleach is at least partially rescued throughout by its visuals, as they sport a clean and precise cel-shaded style that echoes its source material fantastically well. In action it can be quite an impressive concoction, with animation that captures a sense of flair and a camera that dynamically alters for dramatic effect when certain crushing attacks are executed.
