Summary: I like this game!!! It is fun and challenging. At first, I rented it 5 years ago when it was expensive. Now that I found it on ebay, I never had a doubt of bidding for this game. It is worth the price.
Summary: Like the title says, this is not a flight sim and is only sort of historically accurate. Fighters have health bars and near the end of the game you get fire and forget missiles. The missions, though often repetitive have unique elements and blowing up stukas with guided rockets that pretty much never miss is very fun. They have managed to dig up a lot of crazy German idea's and added some of their own. You customize your plane in the hanger.
Summary: What got me with this one is that while the actual flying and combat controls are very good, and the capabilities of the planes realistic, the story of some airborne A-Team made the game childish. I mean, a pilot from Pensacola becomes the ringleader of a top secret group of pilots who do the impossible? No, thats too much for me to swallow. Why not highlight elite units instead of this drivel? Like I said the gameplay was great, but the other stuff was a distraction.
Summary: Pretty fun if you like that kind of thing, it's not really that hard (that's what she said). There is no video between loading screens and the intros to the mission are just text with pics and no video. Butt that's why the price is cheap. If you like WWII games then it's worth it. I thought the difficulty was about the right size for me (that's what she said).
Summary: Challenging is the epitome of the game, but that's not to take away from the gameplay it's a very interesting and exciting game. Once you get used to the controls and steering of the planes it's a fun game.
Summary: This is a great game. The one player story mode is a lot of fun if you have the patience to get through the first level. The first level is probably one of the worst levels in any game I've played in my life! You fly around looking for little floating things that are scattered all over the map. This wouldn't be bad if there wasn't so many of them. Also some of them are placed in some of the most difficult to reach spots.
Summary: It is a good game and worth getting. In comparison, Blazing angels one on the Wii platform is incredible, the best Wii game we own. Why B.A. 2 isn't offered on Wii is beyond me. Whoever makes the game is missing the boat and not concerned with customer satisfaction. We had been looking forward to the possibility of a B.A. 2 for wii but it hasn't happened so we settled for the current offering for PS2. I have played it a bit and it is a worthwhile game.
Summary: This game is basic arcade type fun. It may be because it is a bit dated. The graphics ar ok at best, but the action seems nonstop. It will definitely keep you engaged, but make no bones about it this is no IL 2 Sturmovik. For the money it is a great little game that will provide hours of enjoyment.
Summary: I'm not going to say the game is bad; it is good. A lot of work went into this game. I like the controls, graphics, etc. However, I just find myself going to one mission to the next (not without dieing many times, of course) with no feeling of accomplishment. Worth getting for a cheap price.
