NOT A FLIGHT SIM, but fun

Anne Strigth, Amazon
13 October 2013
  • Summary: Like the title says, this is not a flight sim and is only sort of historically accurate. Fighters have health bars and near the end of the game you get fire and forget missiles. The missions, though often repetitive have unique elements and blowing up stukas with guided rockets that pretty much...

Fairly good game play, but really odd premise

Dr. Redhawk, Amazon
8 March 2013
  • Summary: What got me with this one is that while the actual flying and combat controls are very good, and the capabilities of the planes realistic, the story of some airborne A-Team made the game childish.

Good game

pacey, Amazon
10 February 2013
  • Summary: Pretty fun if you like that kind of thing, it's not really that hard (that's what she said). There is no video between loading screens and the intros to the mission are just text with pics and no video. Butt that's why the price is cheap. If you like WWII games then it's worth it.

Challenging game

Jose, Amazon
25 April 2012
  • Summary: Challenging is the epitome of the game, but that's not to take away from the gameplay it's a very interesting and exciting game. Once you get used to the controls and steering of the planes it's a fun game.

Good single player. Great multiplayer

kiwicreaky , GameStop

  • Summary: This is a great game. The one player story mode is a lot of fun if you have the patience to get through the first level. The first level is probably one of the worst levels in any game I've played in my life! You fly around looking for little floating things that are scattered all over the map.

Good arcade type fun

SPF, Amazon
21 July 2010
  • Summary: This game is basic arcade type fun. It may be because it is a bit dated. The graphics ar ok at best, but the action seems nonstop. It will definitely keep you engaged, but make no bones about it this is no IL 2 Sturmovik. For the money it is a great little game that will provide hours of enjoyment.

Good, but not much excitement

Jack Paine, Amazon
4 February 2010
  • Summary: I'm not going to say the game is bad; it is good. A lot of work went into this game. I like the controls, graphics, etc. However, I just find myself going to one mission to the next (not without dieing many times, of course) with no feeling of accomplishment. Worth getting for a cheap price.

Good flight first person shooter

darkblazer, Amazon
1 January 2010
  • Summary: I was looking for a flight/flying "first person shooter" game. I have Warhawk and really like it, but sometimes it is tough finding good on-line matches. Since Warhawk doesn't have a single player mode it's a bit disappointing that you have to rely on the on-line availability to play.

Delivers a great Sixaxis controller experience

Kamakahanohano Guerreiro, Amazon
16 October 2009
  • Summary: I played the first Blazing Angels and really enjoyed. I saw this one and thought why not give it a shot. Offers more planes and new miswsions. If you are not running 1080P(Full HD) don't bother. I have found that when your at a high altitude, the targets and the game play is crappy.
