Summary: I like the first one better the planes were more believable and the story was better .If you want to fly jets in a game you should get hawks or some other modern aircraft game . Graphics wise it is way more superior like when you are in Egypt that was cool. It was just to many strange and different planes I know they came with strange design in ww2 but I thought they would at least have the p-51 as a playable plane instead of having to unlock it.
Summary: Pros: 1)Six axis controller is great fun and makes flying a more intuitive experience. 2)Game offers an interesting customization feature to slowly allow you to improve the technology of your aircraft. Cons: 1)Very Formulaic. Character development is weak, and the story line is melodramatic(in a very bad way). Your wingmen are full of trite cliche phrases that detract from being able to be immersed in the game playing experience.
Summary: Must be played almost exactly in the sequence it was written for. Some levels make no sense but must be played inn the way written. Could not finish due to unknown path on level where girl is rescued in France by landing plane on street. No way to get past flak. All logical ways are not permitted as plane control is taken over by game. No thinking allowed. Must go through flak. Can not make it without full health but game will not save unless finish level.
Summary: I really love this sort of game and I enjoy playing this game, however, unlike the Ace Combat series, this game hasn't figured out how important yaw control is to flying with finesse. Although the game is still fun, the fact that the yaw control is coupled with the throttle (different controls available, but none better than the Arcade) does not allow you to manipulate the throttle and yaw control simultaneously, the result is basically drunken flying, using bank and...
Summary: This is one of the first games that came out ! So there's no doubt the graphics + the overall rating is not really good ! It's a good game for kids but far from "good" in case of PlayStation addicts !
Summary: This is better than the first title with pretty good graphics and scenery but very unrealistic flying qualities. It's not like a flight simulator at all. Aircraft instrumentation is primitive. It reminds me of the Star Wars vehicles more than an airplane. It works better for me with a joystick instead of the PS3 controller. Very poor documentation adds to the frustration.
