Summary: The concept is great, the idea needs to be improved upon big time. The concept was great for 2007ish but it can be updated to 2011 with another release with better controls and graphics. Other than that it's a good game to kill time, but no a marathon game at all.
Summary: the game starts our great, but after 3 days of strait gamming it gets dull. its the same old same. players control a merceny who stives for fame. the game has story line, but very spaced apart and short. it focuses on stratagy, units can lvl up and be custumised via a point system. thats all this game realy has to offer.
Summary: The game is, at its core, an able action-tactics piece set in a little-used (for games, anyway) historical period that nicely compliments the playstyle. The 'sensation' of combat in the Hundred Years' War--if not always the details--is spot on, and it gives a very good sense of leading troops of men into pitched melees, constantly ordering different types of soldiers to execute tactical maneuvers to counter the enemy's own.
Summary: This is one of those games that starts off really good and you can easily get into it, mainly because of the simple controls and game play that is very simple to understand and get to grips with. Also, there are a lot of customizable features for your character and you can choose what type of squad you want to take charge of.
Conclusion: This game is the best strategy game there is on ps3. The graphics are mind blowing not mentioning some of the combos you can do whilst playing the game. But and its a big but the game is to repetive as it gets boring after a few days as everything is the same get control of one base blah blah keep on doing that all thre out the game. Also the game is very very easy to master. But the game is a good one so im not saying dont buy it.
Conclusion: This is a great concept, but it didn't quite work out for me, as it seems that it is impossible to die. The novelty of running around a battlefield, controlling different units, and repeatedly capturing points around the map soon wears off, and the game becomes tiresome and uneventful. Don't bother buying.
Excerpt: I recently downloaded the playable demo for this game from the Playstation Network and thought a lot of it. It's very much like Dynasty Warriors, Age of Empires and so on but slightly different which I found made the game a lot better. You start off by picking your character and who you want to fight for (England v France) and begin the game as a recruit.
