Summary: This isn't just a mindless 'shooter in the air'. Even with the simplest control scheme, it takes a bit of patience to learn to take off, get to your destination/targets, maneuver and survive, then land your plane - but the way it is presented here is far better than any other flight & fight game I...

Summary: so real you will crash WW-II era planes in frustration for hours. Also works perfectly with even old joysticks made for PC, but instead on the PS3. Unsure why other games (GTA V + Ace Combat) can't implement joysticks as well.
Summary: My first and probably last. This offers so many different variants and options, it will probably be sufficient for a long time. Got the Mad Catz Pacific AV8R for PS3 to go with it. I have to admit that I play it more than I intend....

Summary: For years I have been looking for a decent flying game for the PlayStation/PS2/PS3, I own pretty much every flight title ever made for these three consoles (not sure if I can name other titles, but if you're like me, I'm sure you have a fairly good idea which ones) and have always been a little...
Summary: This PS3 game is so very awesome. The graphics are top notch and every you move you make with a joy stick is seen in the plane. I have used the Microsoft Flight Simulator on a PC and this is even better. I really enjoy it.
Summary: Birds Of Steel on PS3 is one of the most in depth WW2 fighter Simulators that, the aircraft that are in the game goes from the Biplanes to Me 262 and 163. I love this game. It also includes a very through encyclopedia. A must buy for an WW2 Air war enthusiast.
Summary: This game came with an instruction booklet. After using both PS3 wireless controller and a third party joystick with throttle, the game's responses are great to both units. I'm still learning to play the game. So far, I found the graphic and sound astonishing.

Summary: It is a superb game. I was looking for a game which could use a HOTAS setup like back when X-wing and Tie Fighter were around. Frankly, I'm weary of FPS and those type of games. Birds of steel is more realistic and if you get shot down you're down.
