Get Ready for Flight, and a Fight !!!

Jeffrey B., Amazon
10 July 2013
  • Summary: This game has very good graphics, and is a challenge to play. This was my first Flight game and mastering the controls took a little while. Once I mastered them though the game plays well, and has many different aircraft, and missions to fly. If you like a bit of complexity, and a challenge this game is for you.

My 13-year old son likes this game

Rhonda, Amazon
7 July 2013
  • Summary: I have no pros or cons for this game. I do not use the play station. However, my son requested the game and he seems to enjoy it. The game arrived timely and in good condition. Amazon was right on track with the delivery.

Challenging, Takes time to Learn

Tonybanker, Amazon
22 April 2013
  • Summary: This software is some what challenging to learn how to use effectively. If you are a professional gamer, you'll be fine. But if you just want sometime to mess around with, it will take some time to learn to use effectively, perhaps more time than you want to devote to it. But it does take you step by step through the learning process, its just time consuming.

Very good game!

APR, Amazon
1 March 2013
  • Summary: This game is the best game for any flight sim game for PS3, Graphics are sweet and the game play is fun. The only down fall is to test fly all planes on the game, you have to rank up to the top and buy the planes once you unlock them with rank. That part is not cool.

Fascinating Flight

Earl R. Miranda, Amazon
24 February 2013
  • Summary: I felt like I was in a 1940s vintage plane, even with the simplified control scheme. I can't wait to play the rest.

Red Baron

Herman Bracey, Amazon
24 February 2013
  • Summary: Excellent game. I really enjoy the challenge of flight this game offers. I've previously enjoyed Microsoft Flight Simulator, and I wanted something as close to that as possible. Just having began playing this game, I will say that the graphics seem simular, but I'll definitely need to purchase a flight joystick to enjoy this game. So far, on the PS3 controller, control of the plane is very difficult.

Only for the Serious Flyer

J. Hall "Big John", Amazon
16 April 2012
  • Summary: This game is not for the arcade flyer, although they will enjoy Birds of Steel. This game has went overboard on the way a simulator works. If you are into flyer simulators and other sim's are just not hard enough... This game is for you. I think this game will be around for a long time and will make you a expert on WWII planes... Enjoy..!

Great attention to detail and incredible selection of planes

Terry Pitoulis, Amazon
25 May 2014
  • Summary: A must have for any flight lovers out there. Only criticism is the occasional slow action and short levels. But this is still in keeping with real world missions of ww2. Great game.

Excellent game but BEWARE what you receive!

Gaffer "licious", amazon.co.uk
17 March 2013
  • Summary: I will split this review into 2 parts - The Game and Amazon's description. The Game: This is an excellent game. If you like flight sims, you'll love this. It's from the team behind Birds of Prey and I think that is a standout game. However, it's not without a few issues and I don't think it's quite as good as that game so BoS drops a star.
