Summary: Bioshock, overall, was an excellent game. The story is great, though it goes on a little long after the climax. Going around an underwater city in ruins filled with a variety of Splicers and the infamous "Big Daddies", killing pretty much everyone you meet really is as fun as it sounds. The gameplay mechanics work phenomenally, and that combined with the decent array of weapons available gives the player a variety of playing styles to choose from.
Summary: Bought the game because I played Bioshock Infinite through and loved it. Wanted to see what the fuss was about for the original game. Just realize that this game is so old now that it's still in very low resolution. It took me a few hours for my eyes to "adjust" after having played lots of 1080p games recently. I say that the opening of the game was interested and novel for the world you're in, etc.
