I must be the only one

MDub70 , GameStop

  • Summary: I got this game because all of the reviews proclaimed it as one of the best games ever made. They proclaimed the story was deep and engrossing. I love good story-telling in a game so I got it and played. And the verdict...eh, it was okay. By no means the worst game I've ever played...that would be Dead Rising 2...but also not the best game I've ever played...that would be Red Dead Redemption. I admit the game controls were unique and cool..

i chose the impossible...

gamefool , GameStop

  • Summary: Bioshock is a different game, The creepy atmosphere made by rapture, mixed with the fun to use plasmids, makes it fun. The plot is fairly simple but, as you move along it starts to get more corny, you play as a man named jack. Your plain crashes near rapture and you have no choice to do anything else but take refuge in rapture. You soon meet Atlas, a man who helps you along throughout your stay.

A man chooses...to play Bioshock

YoshiChee..., Ciao

  • Excerpt: "With my preorder of Bioshock Infinite in March, I was lucky enough to receive a copy of the first game in the series, Bioshock, free of charge. It’s no stretch to say I was excited to play it, as I remembered the rather disturbing and dark trailer it had a few years back. It’s also considered one of the best titles of the generation, enjoying plenty of perfect scores so finally playing it was exciting. It’s certainly a great game though it does show ...
  • Pros: Excellent story; great strategic gameplay; superb art style; very good sound .
  • Cons: Combat feels slightly dated in spots; lack of consequence when you die; texture pop - in .

Great game

J Dorman, amazon.co.uk

  • Summary: I bought this game from reviews on here and I'm glad I did, for the price it is definitely worth picking up alone but the game itself is very very good. The game is a FPS not an RPG which i was lead to believe from some reviews, if there is a hint of RPG in this game it is very minimal. Like another reviewer had said when playing Bioshock it reminded me a lot of Timesplitters just the way the game is set out and different types of levels you approach.
